They sure do
I used to work for the EUI Group 0 -
Not all of them. As I said, Admiral didn't when I renewed my policy.Gladiator are only a broker and do not underwrite any policies... Probably why they didnt load it yet all the EUI companies did as they underwrite their own.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
So they really have you stitched up. You have to report any incident. If you claim, your premium goes up. If you don't claim, your premium goes up.Even if you deal direct with the third parties insurer or third party, you HAVE to inform your Insurance Company of an accident your involved in. It's part of the T&C that you agree to when you take out the policy.

This is such a ripoff. Insurance is stacked up to discourage people from claiming. And we are forced into their arms because it is compulsory. And they act in a cartel as they all at it. And even if you go for the cheapest 3rd party insurance (on the basis why pay more if you can never claim anyway) th e premium is not much lower than fuly comp (the difference used to be far greater 20 years ago)0 -

I used to know a chap who used this as an excuse to not buy insurance for his car.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

Hasn't stopped him yet. He is on his second ban already. He doesn't have many friends left.Shame he'll get banned if caught and also finedThe greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Don't they just seize peoples cars and crush them if you repeat offend or something like that
Aye I bet he doesn't, hes daft because he could kill someone and ruin their families lives because he refuses to pay a few hundred pound a year. I'm sure he'd change his opinion if someone killed someone from his immediate family.0
