Hello ive been with orange since the 4th of November 2009 and im on an 18 month contract. I had to have the phone replaced 10-12 times i forget the number phone i'm, Either when i get a new phone the screen has a bubble under it, the phone keeps crashing, the audio cuts of when u play back my recordings or my phone won't turn on for hours.

I'm sick to death of this phone and the only other phone they offer me are crap half the price phones. There is nothing i can do is there?

Also does anyone know the fee for missing the delivery of your replacement phone with orange, i had to take my gf to the dental hospital this morning so i got home for 10am when my phone was meant to come during 9-1. Anything i can do to get them to wave it? :/

EDIT: Just had my phone delivered, so no charge for me but i am sick of having these phones replaced. I even know the 2 delivery drivers pretty well, he always laughs at delivering yet another phone and goes on about how amazing his iphone is and how amazing arsenal is :P

Thank you :)

Just 6 months to run, and you can consider your next purchase :)

Is this the real meat of the issue though?
I would have imagined if you have had that much handset trouble, then a long contract account may not be in your interest.
It's not as if the Iphone is blemish free (or any other handset before the fanbouys come to flame me)
you start this new contract in Feb, then the fantastic iphone 5 arrives in June, what then? :o

Well my contract actually ends may 2nd, but i can upgrade my phone in February, noone knows much about the iphone 5 as it's being released early because the iphone 4 has antenna issue, it's probly a very slightly modified version of the iphone 4.

I just wondered if orange have voided the contract, they keep giving me broken phones, the 1st 3 phones they sent me the screen was damaged. I supose i either go with an upgrade to a Nokia n8 in feb or maybe an iphone 4 or 5, OR i can just hold out until may as see if there are better deals anywhere else but my credit score isn't great so it might be best to stick with orange. I'm not in debt just im only 18 and don't really have a credit score :P

If they are offering replacement handsets, then they are honouring their deal, as well as credit score, you don't want to be seen as a troublesome customer either, remember they are not obliged to offer you a contract, my SE K700i is still working fine, as is my K750i and K850i, now those you will pick up cheap, so it is not as if you cannot ge a handset that is both reliableand cheap and will carry you over until such time that Steve Jobs offers his next presentation

But the phones offered should be the same or of equivalent specification, 2 different mobiles are not equal. I.e. If you have apps purchased for android you probably dont want a symbain phone, and as the OP stated the offered phones were of significantly less value, possibility to the point of if they wanted it then they would have got the phone and contract separate.

If your unhappy, you should have spoken to consumer direct already. But i agree with others the comment about IPhone 4 does make it sound like you want a "new" phone. That is a dangerous trap to fall into due ot lengthy contracts. I myself generally do long contracts for the allowences not the phones.
