Hi
last night i sent a bunch of texts after midnight to friends and family wishing them happy new year etc.
it is nearly 22 hours later and none have sent - i know just after midnight it would be busy but surely by now.
i have an orange payg and i had enough credit.
kind wishes

It's a crazily busy time for the networks. Imagine how many people text within an hour either side of midnight.
It may be that they got lost somehow. I'd suggest sending another one to your friends, and mention the original didn't go through!0 -
Have you been able to send other texts since then?
It may be worth switching your phone off and on again.0 -

Managed to get my phone working - it can't do 2011 - when I reset the date to 2010 all my texts work! It is unlocked so I don't know if that is anything to do with it.
