So if it doesn't specify it, why did you assume that it offered that function?
There is no legal right to a return unless the goods are faulty. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

To be honest its naivity on my part.
The last and only printer I have had was a HP Photosmart which allowed borderless printing and I just assumed that all printers would have a borderless option.
Shows how much I know:embarasse0 -
Not a common function on a £25 AIO printer I'm afraid. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Unfortunately I know that now.0

Those good people at Tesco's refunded me my cash and off i've been to Currys and bought a Canon Pixma MP272 for the same price and hey presto full page photo's.
Thanks for your help Santer.0 -
Maybe if you offered to replace the ink cartridges
Canon have released their MP280, no major differences, Amazon have that for £36 delivered and the inks are £20 currently a set, against £37 a set for the MP270
If you are unable to exchange the HP perhaps you could offer it for sale privately.
Epson printers have the better availability for compatibles, and a similarly specced printer from them is £40 with compatible inks at £4 a set
Good luck0 -
Thanks for letting us know0

Fortunately i didn't impulse buy this at tesco like you did and came back to do my research. We are looking for a printer at the moment and i instantly noticed the lack of a borderless printer. You also apparently according to my geek boyfriend never get a cable included now.No idea where to start. He is a canon fan but wasn't happy with my last one.Two expensive for me too run for a start. That was partially my fault for getting carried away when buying.0
