Today I bought the above printer but for some reason I cant get a full fit picture print.
Everytime I print a photo I get a white border all the way round the edge of the photo and the picture preview also shows that this will happen but I can't seem to get rid of it.I've tried everything I can think of but to no avail.
The photos are printed from Windows photo viewer and while i've downloaded two other programs to print the photos from the problem is still the same which leaves me thinking its the settings on the printer.
Please could somebody HELP,or at least point my in the direction of someone who can assist me?

Print Capabilities Borderless Printing: No

Does it mention centered printing
Do the programmes you have allow you to reset the size eg to 11.69cm X 8.27cm for A40 -

So does this mean that it doesn't have a borderless option?
Can't see nothing about centred printing or allowing me to reset sizes.0 -
As far as I can tell from the manual, full bleed printing is not available on that model-it is only a budget all-in-one machine. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

One programme which will alow you to change the size of an image is irfanview, use it to open an image, click image, resize / resample, set the dots per inch, you can choose to preserve the aspect ratio, or untick to set an exact size.
To print, click file, print, check the preview and see which gives the better output from original size, best fit or stretch to page. For position, there is a centered option and one to reduce left / top margin

Downloading and installing the plug ins is useful0 -
Downloaded irfanview and still getting the same problem.Think i'm just gonna return the printer to Tesco's and get one that allows borderless printing.
Probably this one
Canon PIXMA MP270 Printer
Same price, although I see the ink cartridges are a bit more expensive.0 -
I don't think they'll allow a you a return on a printer, as you've opened it and installed the printer carts etc.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
