Next time happy to add 'rumour has it' but as always it's your lookout, easy enough to call before you go.

HAHA I did call, to check stock....im the silly one for not checking the price at the same time. Nevermind, stopped in at morrisons and got some santa chocolate lollies (reduced to 49p) to eat after I eat the KFC I also got while out that way....lol, we have no KFC near us so all was not lost :D:rotfl:

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
To be fair to sirbrainy, the rumour came from a reliable source. Having said that, if sirbrainy had credited HUKD in his first post, as is the custom, then he wouldn't be getting the blame now.

I normally do exactly that but it was late.
  • I drove to every Sainsburys within a 200 miles radius of my home & can confirm that it is not £49.99 in any of them.

Time to put it to bed....

You could always have picked up one of the £67 Henry Hoovers!

Posted this well ahead of time and picked one up myself so I know it worked.

Rumour of course - until it turned out to be fact.

I'm glad I didn't have to be a dishonest consumer - it would have been too tempting :)
