Britons got talent - have you ever been?

Happy New year all,

I am attending the studios in Hammersmith, London next week for the first recording of Britons got talent.

I have never attended as a member of the audiance before, or travelled to the studios. I have telephoned the show and even emailed, but no response :(

I need the following answered:

1) I am attending the 5:15pm show, is there any parking at Hammersmith studios?

2) two members of the party are registered disabled, they are both concerned with access, standing, climbing stairs ect... are there any special arrangements put in place for the show?

any help would be really welcome, thanks

  • Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

  • Hi there! I went to Hammersmith to see Britain's Got Talent last year, there is a multi-story nearby, but me and hubby managed to get a parking space literally right outside the venue for £4.00 for the whole evening which was, in my opinion, a bargain! Although we were not accompanying any disabled persons, from what we saw, they were taken in separately through a side door (And missing alot of the queues!:D)

A few words of warning though....They asked us to get there at 6pm last year, we didn't go through the actual doors until gone 8pm, so I'd make sure you go loo and eat before you queue as the organisers really pack you all in and it's difficult to get in and out the queue. (This of course is irrelevant if you do manage to enter through the disabled access) and another tip is to not wear clothes that are too warm for inside the theatre, it got so hot in there!!

But apart from that, you'll have a great time! There was a fab warm up act & Simon and co are very funny, warm and down-to-earth. Also, between each act you are free to go to the bar/loo etc I'm very jealous ;)

  • I parked at westfields last year for the day and then got the tube across to Hammersmith, so i suggest you do this, its cheap and easy!

    2) I'm sure they will have plenty of staff to assist you, and you will have no problem with access, just get there early!!! (last year the queues were huge - many left dissapointed!)

    Good luck!
