Tell them you won them. Family used to take the mick as I spent so much time entering - not any more, as they have reaped the benefit. They know that they will get exceptionally good presents, a lot more than I can afford/would spend.

You'll also get the comments I never win anything - to which the reply is "Do you ever enter any competitions, you have to be in it to win it!"

The amount of times my colleague moans that she has won anything even though she's entered over 100 competitions now amazes me! I don't think that she gets that I enter 1000s. 100 is probably a normal day and I certainly don't win something every day. I know you only have to enter 1 and you could win but obviously the more you enter, the more chances you have to win!

I went to the post office to send off my mcvities win last year and they kept going on about how they didn't know anyone who ever won on these things and never believed that they were real. Well I proved them wrong! But then asked whether they ever entered them when they saw them and they said no as they didn't think they had a chance of winning - well of course you're not going to win then! Doh!

Sorry, it'll be a none starter - takes people enought time posting, without trying to find your post as well.

seems to me the forum works fine as it is, if we start having separate threads for everything it will be far too messy.

    Can't see this happening.

I'm kinda confuddled, just catching up with this thread, and am wondering if someone has deleted a Q as these answers don't really make sense to me atm :o
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

That's really good advice, I don't think I've ever used that button. Thanks. :)

It took me a while to discover it, but its so easy to keep up using it
  • Hi all,

Just wondering where the majority of people enter the competitions from? I usually just use the main ones in Competition Time...the ones in dailies/weeklies and monthlies confuse me a little =S

How many does the average jo enter?

I find if you are up to date with comps, using the NEW TOPIC Button takes away the hassle of threads bumping.

    That's my favourite button! lol

Also - If there are any that have problems or aren't working etc then I book mark them so I can check them later. ;)

This average Jo enters everything that interests her - once she is caught up on the main board then ventures into the regulars (although tbh I have my own personal book marks for dailies etc so regs are used too often!)

probably at least 100 a day though - my annual prize value totals are in my sig.

    good luck xx
