I've just started comping a few days ago and it's taking me ages to get through everything. I was wondering, those of you who've had lots of wins, how many comps do you tend to enter on average each day/week etc?
Also, how long was it till you won your first prize?
Thanks, J x2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100 -
I enter at least 500 a week and it took about a month to receive my first prize.
I enter Online, Postcard, Phone and Text Competitions.0 -
I only started two weeks ago and have prizes listed below

Hi welcome to comping and to the forum.
I started comping in May.
I had my big win just 2 days later.
I enter about 3000 a month.
I work by closing dates and have a spreadsheet/calender with dates on - I mark the dates off as I go to so i know which ones i've done - I also use the enter button on the threads here so i know which ones I've done - still have to double check sometimes as duplicates can happen.
My normal comping day is to find any comps ending that day that I have missed, then the daily comps, then I do my twitter and facebook comps, then I see what date i'm on that day and do that...
Hope that makes sense and hope it helps.
Please feel free to message me on here if you'd like any other tips -

First bit of advice, read the getting started comping guide. to do loads of comps, you need a form filler - makes it so easy to enter comps.

I think you will find that there as many comps on this forum as you can cope with.
Don't worry too much about finding comps to post until you get into the swing of entering them.0 -

You don't need to find them, they're all on the boards for you to enter. When you've found your way around you can post any that you come across, but do read the comping guide mentioned above first as it gives you tips on how to use the search system on here. It's demoralising to post a comp then find that you've duplicated one that's already here (I speak from experience).Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
