Hi
I don't often get into this thread (too busy entering competitions) but thought you may be able to help me with a problem. Previously (and following some very helpful advice from a comper here), when I entered ITV comps using FF I used to complete the form, except the captcha, press submit and then filled in the captcha to enter. Using this allowed me to enter 5 or so times without having to re-fill the form but of late this isn't working for me.
I don't know whether ITV have altered their website to stop me being able to do this, whether it's FF or me - is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
Thanks

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

I'm not sure if it'll help but I use the add on Tab Mix Plus and have the option on right click to 'Duplicate Tab' (there might be other add ons that do the same thing?) I fill in all my details on the first one and then duplicate it until I've got enough open and it copies all the info into the other tabs too so all I need to do is type the captcha and submit0 -
If you fill in the entire form (inc captcha) then right click and refresh on the next page, it brings back the form all filled in and you only have to do the captcha again. It works 99% of the time for me.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Just had a call from my DD who subscribes to Glamour magazine. Next Months Daily comp looks amazing, May is always good, but this year some days have 700 prizesLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Wow, I'm not too well so I'm stuck at home for a few days and thought I would take that time to start organising myself to get back into comping. (I had a nice win the other day and it's got me back in the mood! lol)
I thought that my best plan would be:
1 - Do all of the monthlies with it being the 1st of the month and aim to come back the 1st of every month thereafter
2 - Do all of the dailies
3 - As from Monday do the weeklies every Monday
So far so good? Took me all day and I'm not yet done lol. So thought I would bookmark them first instead as surely that would save time in the future? (At the moment you click the link in the regs, then click the link in the original post so this would equal less link clicking, which sounds silly but surely it all adds up?)
I thought that because I would be so superbly organised I could then just go to the main board every day to pick up on the other competitions - which is usually the only part of the board I use due to me only having maybe an hour each day to comp.
However to cut a long story shortI am just wondering how other people fit the regular comps in??
Also I don't know if my brain is also unwell but I don't understand the changes being made to the regs, despite reading them several times. I'm just so confused.Dream of being mortgage free....

Hello my fellow comping peeps
I hope this works ok cos I'm on my mobile
I completed my real people puzzles last night but when i turned the laptop on to put them online, I found it had been infiltrated by a nasty virus
Mr M's techy friend is en route to fix it so I'll hopefully post it tonight or tomorrow. The end date is quite far off so no panic there, just thought I'd update incase anyone wondered where it had got too.

i do daily comps first, then on a monday do weeklies, then enter end the next day. i find i can do dailies, weeklies and end tomorrow in a few hours. the less time i have the less threads i actually open and the more picky about prizes i become :rotfl: i used to leave monthlies until i had spare time and inclination to enter then work through however many of them i cba. or i would move on to then next days ending comps and try to get ahead with intention of leaving myself a few days to get though end last day of the month.
i tried a few times to get through the whole thread, but never managed it in one day as so many had changing prizes or where posted on main as well so had to search to thank/tick entered so i wouldnt enter it again when i hit it via main.
changes:
monthly thread will be no more. ALL monthlies will now be posted on main with an end date of the last day of the month or in some cases a day or two before if specified on website. so there will be a lot more comp pages on main for end 30/04 for example.
those comp left in the monthly thread will be newsletter comps that are for new subscribers in the month they subscribe only, or are stay entered each month (or week or day) that you stay subscribed to it. any that people discover are enter once or are new subscriber only should be added to the renamed monthly thread and moved to regs when its discovered they are not intended to be entered by the same email addy every month.
all daily and all weekly comps will now be posted in ongoing threads instead of as new threads each day or week. some of these will move to regs due to their being no overall promotion end date, others will stay on main with the final end date used. all should be linked in the daily or weekly thread depending on entrance frequency.0
