Competitions Discussion Thread Part 13

Hi, just wondering if I can seek a bit of advice. I recently was lucky enough to win a really decent prize, advertised on the website as a £500 sony tv and a boxset. I received notification of this at the start of January and wasadvised that the promoters would send me my prize within 28 days. When I didn't receive this I emailed the promoters and after no reply for over a week i got in touch with the website that ran the competition. They chased the promoters up and after further faffing around I received a tv today
The set I received is the cheapest Sony on the Tesco direct (there's an invoice) website valued on there at £350, though i can't find a rrp. There is also no sign of the boxset. I'm just wondering whether I should query this and also the non-receipt of the boxset. I don't mean to sound ungrateful as I know essentially this is something for nothing, but I also feel slightly aggrieved that my only big win to date hasn't turned out to be what is described on the tin and would appreciate any comments/advice. Cheers0 -
I'm not sure of what you can do regarding the TV, however the prize value given may have been correct at the time the competition launched, we all know prices drop immensely after Christmas. The boxset is probably coming from a different place and will arrive at a different time to the rest of the prize. Hth.0

I don't normally buy the Daily Mail but bought one today, partly for an article I saw in it and partly for the scratchcard. I haven't won any money on this today but wonder if anyone who normally buys the paper could post the amount for the bonus entry each day. My card has given me 2 £18,000 so I would hate to miss out winning such a large amount if this came up during the week. Many thanks in advance.0

There's a newspaper summary posted here evry day that had all the amounts in it.
