Just wish I'd seen it earlier.I spotted mention of it on the website yesterday but no link was up.I was out most of today hospital visiting so only got to read the papers late afternoon.

I had been to see my Mother.It's her third week in.It all started with kidney problems & now it's respiratory issues.Makes it harder when it is a 125 mile round trip for visiting & I'm working as well.

its hard enough even without the distance around work and other commitments i hope they find an effective way of sorting the issues as soon as possible, and she picks up.

Sorry to here about your mother weeowens I hope that she gets better soon and that you are able to get back to some form of normality

think that the reason they are moved to GO early is because there is nothing to differentiate them from the other comps closing on the same day

Maybe one day only comps could have no end date in the title and be tagged E: (One Day Only) with the OP agreeing to pm a BG the following day to send the comp to GO

The 'one day only' type competitions can usually be differentiated by using the yellow warning triangle when posting. I already use this and I know lots of other posters do too. This way it might be possible for the BGs to use their discretion when moving comps to game over and leave the ones with the warning triangles until later.

The warning triangles also provide some kind of alert to anyone just browsing the recent threads to see that it is not open for long.

I definitely don't think the end date should be removed from the title though as they would then get lost a bit.
