I think it would be prettier if it said £0000.00
So, decided to stay away with work last night rather than get home around 9pm and get up at 5.30 to come back to same place. That way I could have a nice lie in this morning. Well, I'm in bed but awake since 4 and up since 5, so that worked well :rotfl:.
Saw DD last night, treated her to dinner and slipped some money in her bag so dear night out, I can only claim back my meal. Could have been worse, could have eaten in hotel - restaurant is a bit posh. Been reading menu deciding what I would have had - had to look up Pont Neuf potatoes - em, that'd be chips then :rotfl:.
Lots of money paid into my bank account, unfortunately all expected and none 'for me' or mortgage
.
When I walked to hotel last night I went the long way round. Unfortunately I found loads of lovely little shops, with very reasonably priced clothes. I went mad a few years ago when I lost weight and bought lots of dresses but I tend to keep them for smart days - meetings etc. The rest of the time I spend in tunicy type tops and leggings, don't have many tops so am going to treat myself
, also saw some nice cheap boots so will probably get those as well (which reminds me, need to give my favourite boots to nice MSE'er who offered to take them to old fashioned cobblers near her
). Money will come from bills account which has a clothes pot (ok, that pot actually has a hole in it, but that's another matter
).
Em, not much else to report really, except I am saving work money by not having £12.95 brekkie at hotel, am eating in canteen where we are working so will only be a few pounds :A.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I did that recently, stayed away an extra night to get a good sleep and a lie in. The bed was that bad, I had about 3 hours sleep and would have been better off leaving my house at 6am to get to the meeting. Ahh you live and learn0

lucky dd
shame about the lie in!
well done on being in the "1"'s :j (not at all jealous....)0 -
I agree, very lucky daughter!
I try to get mystery shopping hotels near my work (or even just somewhere between work and home) it's a win win because I get paid to do it, save fuel for a day and get more hours sleep. I've never had a bad night's sleep though!
Yes £0 would look better but then we'd all congratulate you and that'd be the end of your emoticon-fest of a diary!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -

So........ what a lovely place with lovely shops, which nearly all close at 5pm . Boots not in my size but did get a nice tunic, but probably dearest thing in the shop at £40
. There was a cheaper one at £30, but I'm glad I bought the one I preferred rather than the cheaper one which I would usually do .
Home tomorrow & lovely hairdresser squeezing me in early, but I will need to pop out and get her some money.
Rents in and money transferred round to pay all bills. Will be ok as long as I keep getting 'my man' to do more & more work and so delay the final bill coming in. Not a very good long term strategy but will do for now :rotfl:.
Just for you MRN......... tomorrow the mortgage balance will be.
