Morning GG, that's fab news on the mortgage front - missing the 11s was a result, so close now :T:T
I love the AF texts, I know some people have had problems but I found their service to be good. Kids loving raiding the boxes to check out the goodies - I have a years supply of tinned toms and kidney beans  if this weather continues I may have to start making chillis again rather than the usual salads in the summer so that may dent my stock somewhat - when is the better weather supposed to arrive?
Let's hope Dave isnt 2 or 3 minutes late, he has a very specific window :rotfl:

They are not very cold today, even although they are 'out' in sandals :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well, exciting news here. Managed to get Mr GG to come and look at a piccy on the computer of a "but if we WERE going to get a dog when we moved to Spain, yes I know it's a mythical dog, but if we WERE going to have one, this is the type of mythical dog I would like, don't you think it looks nice?"
. Ok, so he said it was horrible, even for a mythical dog we weren't going to have (was a cute little Jack Russell), but this is v big progress :T. Especially as his reaction was much more negative to THIS ONE which I think has a lovely face :rotfl:. Things are looking up
.
(We won't talk about his pension projection as that was NOT good, though it was only his main bit, not his AVC's)

Ooooo exciting news on the dog front gg!!!
Ill see if I can get mtryo to have a word, he now talks about "your dog" (to me) persuasion/brainwashing can happen!! :rotfl:
Boo on the pension front - I have to admit that is a bit of a neglected topic here, tho we both pay into them I have not looked into it properly in terms of the payback etc..
Glad Dave arrived on time - havent looked into approved foods but am tempted by it as have heard good things! what kinda things do they stock up on?0 -

Well, if he's looking to retire at 55 that's 10 years less he's paying in and 10 years more they'll be paying out for so not surprising really. Like I said, he needs to find his AVC info too.Deleted_User wrote: »Glad Dave arrived on time - havent looked into approved foods but am tempted by it as have heard good things! what kinda things do they stock up on?
I stocked up on around 80 packs of couscous and 30 of savoury rice, plus some plain bulgar wheat and a few other bits n pieces. They had an offer of Thai red curry paste for 1p a sachet (may even have been 1p for 12) so I bought that also - I've made it with skimmed milk rather than coconut milk as (still) trying to lose weight - not the same but still v nice.
Mr GG still in bed. Wonder if he's dreaming of.
