    Isn't life great?
Yup, even though they lied - the rain in Spain doesn't stay mainly in the plain :rotfl: clouds are so low someone's stolen my mountains  Managed a walk before it started though and had a lovely coffee at the garage - €1 :T Also saw some groovy birds flying round little lake - size of a little egret but colouring more like a grey heron. Having looked at bird book I've either discovered a new species or the herons were further away than I thought :rotfl:

Thanks SM. Back now and don't have the post-holiday blues (much) as I don't have to go back to work :T.

I can highly recommend NOT flying in to Alicante on a Friday flight though - way too many hen and stag do's for my liking :rotfl:.

Went back down to the lake and got a better look at the birds - they were closer than I thought as they were smaller than egrets :o. Worked out they were black-winged stilts, never seen them before, very pretty. Only saw them in the air as they must have been on the island and took off as I approached both times, but very nice with their long legs :D.

Big to do list for the coming week, carpets being cleaned, DD's dad coming to steal some furniture for her, hair cut, tenant swap over.

But first - http://kingrichardinleicester.com/topics/reburial/timetable/ :T. Going with DS & GF - well at least with his GF, he says he'll only moan if he goes but that will keep us entertained :rotfl:. Going to procession and then during the week to the Cathedral. Am really looking forward to it, always been fascinated by the whole story of Riii and glad he's finally having a dignified resting place smileys-king-741814.gif.

Its tomorrow! Oh my word. That'll be a very powerful event to attend, hope you and DS's GF (isn't life complicated! :) ) can see the events properly.

Have a fab time! Just caught up and enjoying retired life via your diary :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Enjoy the day tomorow, a friend of the family has been invited to be a small part of the Cathedral Ceremony as he's a vicar at our local church and a long standing member of our towns Riii society. He's ridiculously excited from what my parents have said.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

:T Oh how lovely :T. I will mostly be cheering DS up and explaining why Riii should be buried in Leicester, not York or Westminster Abbey. And why he probably didn't kill the Princes in the Tower :o.

Have discussed your good self many a time with Mr El ... along with many other mser's ofcourse, he loves to hear all the stories of everyones lives, however, when i mention what your current life is like i get a wee pained look coming over his face, he finally admits you are living the life he cant wait to live, he is totally happy you are having a ball and wishes you well, and looks forward to hearing of the adventures, he just cant wait till we are doing the same thing,

so please keep it up ( groin injury excepted obviously) so that we can have something to look forward too :)
