So sorry to hear that someone you cared for has passed away. Here's hoping that once you are over the shock and pain, you remember all the good things that made her your friend. Life is so precious, we sometimes forget to enjoy it whilst we can, because we are busy setting goals and targets to get us from a to b. I hope that she continues to travel with you on your journey.
TxStill striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Thanks all for your good wishes.
You're right Tahlullah, we do need to live life along the way. My friend had plans to travel in a few years time and never got to do it. And I wanted to taunt her from Spain as I should have stopped work before her. I'll just have to hope she haunts me as she promised she would do . If anything though, it's made me more focused on my plans - life is too short to work longer than you have to
. I know Tilly felt the same when she lost a friend. I just don't think it's in us to say 'sod it' and buy a Lambo :rotfl:.
In other matters - Payday:dance::dance::dance: Do the money shuffle, yeah yeah :dance::dance:.Day off with Mr GG, doing grown up stuff .
Happy Friday everyone :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Busy day today (well, fiddly really, was hoping to spend quite a bit of time outside helping a friend out but the 'light showers' have already started and look more like rain than showers. And forecast is for heavy showers so think I'm stuffed :rotfl:. That does mean I will have downtime, so may end up getting stuff ready to ebay next month.
Seen something by chance I fancy doing tomorrow, not too far away. Mr GG won't fancy it but I do have an ace up my sleeve, aka nice Indian restaurant so I may get stung for lunch . We do need a break from everything, even if it's just for a few hours.
Happy Bank Holiday weekend :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I can't describe what what we're having as light showers :rotfl: although it has calmed down a little.
Some time out sounds like a good plan and will definitely be a tonic for you both.
