Lost watch and bracelet a few days ago. Decided to have a good look for them, no luck, so did the usual:

    "St Anthony, St An...."
"Bet they're in the cream bag"

Sure enough, there they were :j. Didn't even get as far as saying the while thing :T.

Thanks St A, even by your standards that's good going :D.

Being a landlord does not sound like fun. I am surprised how common late rent payments are!

Tell me about it. Still not received but got very shame-faced apologetic message :rotfl:.

    Mini-adventure very good :T.

Need to finish off some of the edig surveys but having a bath first :).

Ok, annual charity dilemma...... Usually do closer to Xmas but done someone a favour and when they suggested giving me choccies I pointed them to Martin's list of charity gifts so thought I'd look as well.

So - sorry WWF, I'm giving to humans. Plus, I can't adopt a tiger, the garden's too small :(. Sorry RNLI, not this year. Not saying anything more as I'll no doubt get regaled with stories of rescues etc :o. Do I go for health (trachoma treatment for 20???) or farming or education? UK or Overseas. Decided on Overseas so Kids Co & Centrepoint lose out :(. I'm left with:
    • CAFOD - quite like idea of giving some happy queen bees :T. But always a bit suspicious of Christian charities (which I think is more a reflection of me than them :o). But they have Chirpy Chickens :).
    • Cowsnthings - £5 chicken, £10 10 chicks, £18 goat
    • Musthavegifts £18 for 5 chickens
    • PresentAid - chickens and goats. I've identified a theme here :rotfl:.
    • Little Good Gifts - chickens, turkeys, wormery :rotfl:, prize bull semen
    • Oxfam - now, they have a sale on, half price goats :T
Off to do some shopping :j

Mr MWC donated 5 places at Crisis for Christmas today :T
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)

10 chicks purchased :j, in memory of Miss Q and to celebrate LRH's continued laying prowess :T. Also, a goat, because I love a bargain :rotfl:. Bit worried though as both sites have put my address down for delivery . How do I gift wrap a goat :o.

:rotfl:Nope, will leave that to the people who get them. The person I did the favour for bought me a fruit tree :j. Bit worried the goat will eat it .

Ok, MFIT2 update sent through. +25.7k paid off, behind but that was to be expected :j.

Part 2 of rent money finally paid & transferred to offset, included in amount above :T.

1 more reg saver payment on FD @8% to go, then it matures :(. In readiness I have emailed NWide about a joint flex account, also FD about new reg saver for me and Mr GG :). Will stick 2.5k in the FD and the remaining 1.2k or so will go to top up offset probably.

Off to London, being an internet bandit hopefully and getting a frothy coffee . One of the edig survey purchases can be returned to outlet at station so that will save some money (they don't do free returns) :).

    Happy Tuesday :D.
