And what has GG done - denies everything - introduces a party, party thread (and I didn't get invited) and now these pesky onions. I say pesky - the house reekit
Oh. Had made onion icecream for the weekend. Speaking of icecream...... there WAS icecream in the freezer if you had looked properly. If you're lucky it may still be there
.
Anyway - it looks like I am going to have the "honour" of the 1600th post ........ so I will celebrate it with a joke :rotfl:
There are these two cats - an English cat and a French cat.
The English cat is called one, two, three and the French cat is callled ........ un. deux, trois (keep up)
They decide to have a swimming race across the Channel/ la Manche. Which cat wins?
The English cat of course.
Because - un, deux trois cat ............ sank :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now you all know why I drink at the weekends .
BTW folks, don't encourage him. This is the same person who phoned me specially yesterday to say he bent over to pick up 5p and found another 50p while he was down there...... but wouldn't bother to pick up coppers :eek::eek:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I used to work for an estate agents and walked around Canterbury city centre sometimes. I used to pick up any pennies I found and bought myself an icecream at the end of one lucrative summer. My step-daughter tells everyone that story and they think I'm mad. I think that shows how early my moneysaving tendancies lurked unexploited. I found 50p on the ground by a bus stop yesterday - definately worth the bend.0

Love it! Am going to tell it to mine tomorrow. :rotfl:"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris0 -
My DH worked on street lighting and put all money found in a pot. He regularily treated himself to a cuppa or ice cream depending on season as he used to collect loads.
DD3 is ace at finding money. She found a 20 euro note walking down the street on holiday once (we hadnt seen it) but frequently finds coins, takes after her dad!
Please note my 5p on Tuesday!
I once found a lovely watch on the beach (buried in sand) and DD3 (again) found a gorgeous bracelet again walking down a street. She often finds things and finds great pleasure "handing in" but sometimes there is no place to hand in.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

£7.39 Op'd off Mr GG debt this morning, included a Tillytidy but have left a balance of 22p........... obviously too early for mental arithmetic :rotfl:. What a thrill as I've made the OP but still have the pleasure of updating spreadsheets when I get home :T.
4 sleeps till holiday......... as long as we can get to airport .
Been looking at pension. Sold shares in one co (at least have put order in with limit) - it's 13% up overall but been flat since I added to it a few times last year and I don't really like holding single co shares. Will reinvest in a few funds I already hold.
All this snow will make it harder to spot coins, but there may be rich pickings when it melts.

Either there's hunners of wedgies that read GGs diary elantan, or everyone is too polite to enquire as why the local greengrocer would be willing to swap a piece of ginger for glass.....OR MAYBE (and this is the highly likely scenario)....not many folks stop by anymore as they know she's just gonna be prattling on about onions:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Exactly Nats - need to improve the "quality" of this thread. I remember commenting when the diary went past a thousand posts ....would it reach 2,000 by the end of 2013?
