I too bought onions today. Was going to put them in gravy with some mushrooms to make my sausage and mash tea slightly more exciting!

Quick question - will it taste ok if I do extra onion/mushroom gravy and freeze??
    Taa.
Yay, another convert :T. Yup, I freeze stuff like that all the time :D.

    Leeks in - 0
    Leeks out - 2
    Leeks remaining - 0 :T.

    Onions in - 0
    Onions out - 2
Onions left - normal quantity :T.

Travel insurance purchased :). Checked in on line :).

It's actually great to see other people that live onions as well... I use on average 1-2 per day used 4 today but tht is rather unusual

Does anyone else have similar issues with garlic ?

Don't get me started on garlic . 2 bulbs cut in half under a roast chicken...... then eaten obviously, when they're all sweet and scrumptious. Then Mr GG arrives the following day......... :rotfl:.

Car hire booked :). For Easter, not next week. Keep up :D. Quite cheap and cancellable on case an even more bargainous one comes along. Did try to persuade Mr GG to have a convertible but he wouldn't :(.

ETA: Yes, I did mean bulbs, not cloves

Money shuffled all over the place today, including an extra £5 as I had on the spreadsheets it was transferred to the Mr GG account but it had gone elsewhere. Obviously I couldn't take it out of the spreadsheet :rotfl:. Now owe Mr GG £56,882 :T:(.

OK - advice please (as am being lazy :o). Photobooks - how do they work? Specifically, can you say you want to leave blank pages and can you say where you want them? Would like to do one from the Olympics (as virtually the only photos I have left are from there :().

  • Hi GG, photo books - firstly go through TCB :)

You can have blank pages, you just pay for the number of pages, ie 20 pages included and then you pay for extras. Loads of deals around and discount codes etc.

You can have it set up exactly as you want, with wording, background colour of pages customised etc etc

Mr T is a good one to ask.

Do you know, that onions have now been a key feature of your diary since 1st January? That's 12 days now.

I'm going to restart juicing on my diary.

Exactly Nats - need to improve the "quality" of this thread. I remember commenting when the diary went past a thousand posts ....would it reach 2,000 by the end of 2013?

And what has GG done - denies everything - introduces a party, party thread (and I didn't get invited :() and now these pesky onions. I say pesky - the house reekit

Anyway - it looks like I am going to have the "honour" of the 1600th post ........ so I will celebrate it with a joke :rotfl:

There are these two cats - an English cat and a French cat.

The English cat is called one, two, three and the French cat is callled ........ un. deux, trois (keep up)

They decide to have a swimming race across the Channel/ la Manche. Which cat wins?

    The English cat of course.

Because - un, deux trois cat ............ sank :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Goes for the coat!!! See you all ...
