DS1 enjoyed preschool yesterday and today, but there were tears when we left him. He said it was because he 'wanted to give me another hug', bless him. Tomorrow they are having a hat parade for the royal wedding, and can go in wearing red, white and blue.
I received my last ever wage slip today, with my maternity pay on, but it was missing 36 hours holiday  I called HR and apparently my line manager was supposed to request the company to 'buy back' the holiday from me, so she needs to arrange this now. That sounds quite straight forward, except that the company had a restructure a few days before I left, so now the manager I would have fallen under is someone I've never even met or heard of! I have left a message on my old manager's phone asking her to see what she can sort out for me. It is a fair amount of money that's missing, so there is no way I'm going to let this go!!
Also, they have taxed me £2000ish, and as I'm not going to be working for the rest of this tax year - not going to look for work til April, I should get all that tax back too as far as I can tell. I am going to call the tax office tomorrow.
When I get paid on Friday we are going to pay all the maternity money £4000 off the credit card. Then we will have approximately £1500 to pay, which we should be able to pay off in a few months once DH starts getting his 20% extra
The plan is then to pay all the extra money DH gets straight off the mortgage, as we will have no other debts. (It would be nice to get a little break in Centerparcs or something similar too
)
I'm just going to call the tax credit people too and let them know I'm no longer working to see if if affects our entitlement at all....Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
I have paid what we can off the credit card, and we will have £1538 outstanding left to pay. When DH gets his extra money it will pay off the extra. The money should start coming through in June so if we can throw at least £300 a month at the credit card, it will be cleared in 5 months :jMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0

I spoke to the tax credit people and they have updated my employment details. They said they won't be able to give me an estimate of if we will get any extra next year though and I need to put all the info on the renewal letter when it comes throughMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0

Have spent the day with my MIL today browsing the charity shops whilst everyone else stayed in and watched the Royal wedding...
She bought me 2 maternity tops, a few tops to wear after the baby has been born, and some flip-flops. She also brought another maternity top when she came round to pick me up. She does look after me
I think I'm going to go to a kids nearly new sale tomorrow just to see if there's anything else we need for the baby/boys. Apparently I need to get a few baby hats even though it's going to be June and probably boiling when he arrives??
Looking forward to a night in front of the tv with DH tonight. Might even get the knitting needles out

I'm having a slap myself round the head moment as i hadn't realised you started a new diary, so i am glad i stumbled across it hon. I wondered why i had seen very few posts from you.
We loved catching up with you again. My two are still talking about it. We will have to try again when you have had the next bambino so i can get a cuddle and then hand him back.
Hope we didn't wear you all out too much.0 -
Yeah we should definitely do it again

Just taking a quick look on here while DH showers, then I can jump in after him and then we are off to the local park for the day with a picnic. Will pop in on my mum and dad for an hour or so tooMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
It's a muggy day here in Yorkshire, I'm sooo hot! I'm starting to wonder how far out and about I should venture, as I'm shattered after collecting DS1 from preschool. I have 5 weeks left til baby is due to arrive, but I'm hoping he may be here in 2 or 3 weeks (I'll probably go miles over :rotfl:)
Not much to report here, I'm just doing a couple of Onepoll surveys whilst I sit down and have a rest. I'm very nearly at £40, so hopefully I will get a payout really soon.Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
WooHoooo, have reached payout for Onepoll, £40 is on it's way to me :jMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0
