I'm quite overwhelmed, actually - thank you so much for these lovely things that people are writing :kisses3: This is my home-on-the-web, its true
I just wrote a long reply and lost it ... I must have pressed the wrong button, because it wasn't ready to post, so not the mse software
Well, anyway, the gist was that the day wasn't *quite* as pottery as I intended - my sister came over and we spent the afternoon opening up ebay and paypal accounts for her, and then, when it became clear that we couldn't put stuff up for sale on her new accounts with it being the first day, we put some more of her stuff onto my account - got some watchers for the stuff already.
And I've infected the rest of my family with the decluttering bug :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:she brought over a nonstick wok, pair of gloves and pair of socks for me, plus some lurvely Champneys bath milk - my skin is fragile, but I'm the only person in the family with skin strong enough to take itor the only one that has baths not showers, either way I get to have it
I've looked at the trading today, but not with the intention of trading - thats for tomorrow, tho there are quite a few times tomorrow when I can't trade:
7am, for 15 minutes.
9am, for 15 minutes.
10am, for however long my phone call takes thats booked in.
Thats okay - that means my breaks away from the computer are built in2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
good result on the bath milk and wok ... and well done on the computer breaks ... my time can go by so fast i just have no idea how long i am on it sometimes0

Yay, to enforced computer breaks. I have been sat at my computer (all work) since 8.30 this morning. Going to sign off now and what is the betting I get an urgent call?
thought I would take 5 to surf around on here. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Don't you dare go anywhere young lady .
Not been on here much again, busy time for a few weeks then I'll hopefully get a pottering day :j.One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

You do know that you have inspired me to download a trading app now? I have had a look at the Halifax one and will see how i get on with it.
I think spring must definitely be in the air with all of the de-cluttering going on, i noticed when i walked around T'sco's that the aisles are full of things to helpBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
A trading app :eek::eek: tell! I don't even know the difference between a programme and an app
:o:o
Well, my phone call didn't last as long as I thought it would .... and even so, there have been no trading signals on my system today. Sigh .... when I'm prepared to trade, the signals go - I thought it might be the case today, with quite a few news releases that affect currency rates. Tomorrow, there's only two, half an hour apart, so we'll see more then.
So, today, there's still 1.25 hours of my trading time to go, but its all very stuck right now - I'll keep my system going, checking it out every 15 minutes, but I don't expect anything to happen.
So, how do I use today?
- couple of emails to write, one of them quite tricky.
- book dental appointment.
- find those website addies I promised last week.
- take the unworn jeans back to Sainsbo.
- bit of shopping there.
- wash my hair, aargh.
- oh, something really productive I can do - finish off my French accounts, they're nearly done, I'm sure I can do them today even in amongst the above list.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ha! Something did happen on the trading after all - 11am, my signal metaphorically pinged, I couldn't bear to go in as it was the first one I'd seen live for I don't know how long - agonising wait, and its not over yet, because I'm *supposed* to be in for a min. of 15 minutes - I'd have got out as it dipped, just to give my adrenalin levels some relief, and I'd have made a profit of 13 points :j:j:j and I' it'd be the same if I got out right now - I'm a happy bunny. Seeing the action in past days on a historical chart is *really* different from taking part in the action yourself as its happening - rats, I forgot to check one of the minor things I'm still researching - still learning, even with all of this.
Still a happy bunny tho :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
That sounds very positive
Er what does 13 points actually mean in good old hard cash?
