Hi KC, grrrr indeed to losing the email, but still, it sounds like Spring has sprung in your house! Well done on the trading (even if I've no idea what it is you're trading )

A trading app :eek::eek: tell! I don't even know the difference between a programme and an app :o:o:o

Well, my phone call didn't last as long as I thought it would .... and even so, there have been no trading signals on my system today. Sigh .... when I'm prepared to trade, the signals go - I thought it might be the case today, with quite a few news releases that affect currency rates. Tomorrow, there's only two, half an hour apart, so we'll see more then.

So, today, there's still 1.25 hours of my trading time to go, but its all very stuck right now - I'll keep my system going, checking it out every 15 minutes, but I don't expect anything to happen.

So, how do I use today?
    - couple of emails to write, one of them quite tricky.
    - book dental appointment.
    - find those website addies I promised last week.
    - take the unworn jeans back to Sainsbo.
    - bit of shopping there.
    - wash my hair, aargh.
    - oh, something really productive I can do - finish off my French accounts, they're nearly done, I'm sure I can do them today even in amongst the above list.

:rotfl: I probably don't know the difference and just using modern slang for lack of knowledge..:rotfl: Although i am sure there is one for and I phone, apparently it has an app for everything..slinks off:o:o:o:rotfl:

I would agree with this, if it's difficult for whatever reason, type it up in Wordpad, or word or whatever, and then copy and paste it in. I often have to do that as my little netbook often goes back a page accidentally and I lose stuff, so if its more than a few lines, I type it offline first.
I'd forgotten about wordpad .... and I'd just lost a post on here that morning, it was *so* dumb of me :(:rotfl:

Glad you got somewhere with the trading, even just being around to see if what you expect actually works.
Thank you! Being there to wait while it does its thing is what I find most difficult, and the reason I don't press the button, so this was great.

So was this with 'real' cash in your trading account or are you still on the 'playing' account.
The account has real cash in it :D

Hope you got your shopping done.
I did, thanks - got the refund onto my card, for the 3 pairs of jeans I took back, and then pottered off to do food shopping - I worked hard at not buying things :D - and honestly, you'd need a degree in maths to buy the best bargain normal toilet paper, with all the money off/4 free/different pack size around. I just end up looking at the price per 100 sheets (sorry if this is TMI :rotfl:but I think there's a con going on).

Thanks Taxi! I am - its something about bringing it into the real world, rather than something I sit hopelessly at the computer for, and just dream the time away with "coulda woulda shoulda"

Sorry to call you on it Bob :kisses3:that looks great - I don't look at individual shares, I just use the FTSE100 and two exchange rates. But on a longer time frame (using weekly information, for instance) this is definitely the way to go.

Thanks Taxi! I had to pop on and run this morning - loads of "worky" stuff on the computer (the important stuff like ebay, you know :D ) and then been doing other work, and stuffing my face, which is also important. There's a phone message from Sussex Bed Centres about the prats who manufactured my rubbish mattress - its a negative, but I'm not paying attention to it yet.

Its sunny! Very sunny! I made myself a cup of coffee about an hour ago, and I actually took it into the road to drink it - I've realised one of the things thats so liberating about this house: there are no steps up to the front door, its just get out and go, I love it :j

So I'm going to have a walk around the block and then do some stuff. Any stuff, just got to get something done after having a play.

Thanks Pippi! I've just had the most *amazing* walk, and it was only about 35 mins there and back - went down a single track lane that I pass on my way to the GP - ended up in the countryside, with 3 footpaths off it, and at least 3 little nature reserves - I'll have to go back again with a camera, it was staggering - the advantages of living in a small town thats *not* directly on the coast!

Cuppa tea, think of a way to apologise for not sending off two family birthday cards, which I've just realised I've (not) done - very oops.
