  • Flipping ek, you lot are a bunch of old nag bags this year!

    I've been awake since 6.30am (not bad for someone who was still wide awake at 2.30am:eek:) waiting for the washing machine delivery man/men, delivery is between 7am & 7pm:eek:. The trouble is I have to leave for this evening work, at the very latest 5pm, my hair is 'minging' I really really need to go in the shower, but you bet yah as soon as I step foot in the bath they will arrive and I will miss them. Hoping hubby will be home by 5pm ready for me to leave otherwise I'm gonna be stuck stuck stuck, not to mention smelly, smelly smelly!!

    I have asked on the weight loss thread if someone would like to start a new 2011 one as I am not doing it justice. I will weigh in when I get to work tomorrow morning and will certainly join in (not looking forward to that first thing tomorrow!)

    Must go and update my Plusnet account as I currently pay on the CC monthly but they are going to charge an extra £1 a month for doing this from February, so will have to change to the normal DD (was enjoying the free extra Tesco points paying on the card got me! Every little helps....ops wrong supermarket!!)

    No spends today, yeh no spends this year!!!

    Hope the washing manchine got delivered in time I have mine being delivered on Saturday 8am to 8pm.

    I have extactly the same feeling want to start being "good tomorrow not today" so no gym for me tonight (was planning to go honestly) but will eat sensibly and no snacks planning jackets with egg.

    TPA your list make me tired just looking at it - Dinah interesting about the wine I always thought white was less than red (I drink rose by the way).

  • I'm home from work! Washing machine arrived at just gone 6pm, now if I had wanted a delivery that late it would never have happened. Took the garage keys round to the lovely neighbours and they took it in.:A

    Still feeling rotten but better than I was - does that even make sense?

    Full day at work tomorrow so that will see how ill/well I really am.

    Settling down to a Baileys:p (sorry GG Cha etc!) and a catch up with Emmerdale on sky+.

  • Would it be me you are waiting for. :eek: I'm not going to keep being mean when you feel poorly, though i am still not sure Baileys is the best thing if you have the fluey thing going round.

    To be honest, i am only being better as there is none left as it all got drank last night. :eek:

    Bleugh. Baileys is the whole reason people give up alcohol in the first place. Disgusting slimey stuff. Now Amaretto thats a whole different ball game although as a cooking ingredient it should be excluded from the challenge. Not entirely sure what you cook with it but I'll come up with something.

    No-one will tell you off TPA, it's only yourself you are letting down.

    (Oooooohhhh, bet that made her feel bad :rotfl:.) TBH, I've lost my sense of taste so quite easy to give it up. Quite fancy having some whisky just to see what it's like with the burning sensation but no taste. Even I think 9am is too early though :rotfl:.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Beef in Amaretto anyone?
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
