  • Hello and happy Sunday!

Have finally done the maths for Feb we now owe the grand sum of
£20,690.12 and the interest we paid last month was £36.76:j.

So 18 more payday until i'm 40 - we are on track..just! We need to pay off £1149.45 plus interest every month. Last month we mananged £1017.86..but we did have a lot of extra expenses, not all were necessary..but ha ho, its done now.

£1149.45 is actually more than my basic wages:eek:, so we will need to live on hubbys wages. Until middle of May I am working most Tuesday evenings so that helps and I also get about 2 weekend shifts per month, it all adds up. Baring major disasters we should be ok.

    Yesterday afternoon/evening hubby n I went on a date!

Went to the cinema, free tickets via Tesco vouchers before Christmas, then we went for a meal out (via a mystery shop) parents dog sat, so in total it cost us £4.65 (overspend on meal) plus diesel (about 30 miles total):j
I had to write up the mystery shop when we returned, but it wasn't too bad.

This week I have done two paying mystery shops and two food ones (free 'ish, tea for two nights cannot be bad!)

Next week I have three mystery shops booked, Tuesday night extra work, Sunday shift as well as normal work and an extra afternoon.:)

To make up for this the following week I am only working one full day and one evening:j You never know I might even get some sorting done in the house!

It is very windy here, so windy I ad trouble getting the car door opened last night:eek:

  • I am kernackerrrrrrrreeedddd!

Have done 4 mystery shops and an afternoons staff meeting and now feel in the need of a week off!

I have written up 3 of the 4 mystery shop reportd but am avoiding the 4th until i've had a couple of budweisers!

Today whilst doing two mystery shops to different phone shops I got called a grandma! Now I might not be looking my best today but i'm only 38 FGS! Both times when demonstrating a phone the sales person says 'so if you want to keep in contact with your grandchildren you just need to....'

Please please please tell me these people needed to go to spec savers!

My friend though it was hilarious when I told her! Then she made it much worse by telling me I would need to be the granny of a child that was a least 10 years old as they would have to have a mobile!!

Forth report written, need a sleep now!

  • Bless you love. Maybe you just need an early night. It was probably because of the inane Qs you have to ask when doing the MS. It makes you look like they imagine a grandma would be with the phone.

I still can't believe you do 3 or 4 on top of normal work stuff in one day. Crazy woman.;)

I did only do half a day 'normal' work on top of the MSs today!
Two of today's were really long ones, it's not so much doing the job it's writing the blooming reports that take forever!

  • I am glad that another day is over, been a long one today, but cannot complain when I think next week is just one day and one evening of work!

Have already booked a girly lunch with my VBF for one day :D

Marchs wages should look very healthy, if the NHS get them right that is:eek:. Hopefully I will be able to make a bigger mortgage overpayment than normal to make up for short months. Feb is looking ok but not as helathy as March!

    Hope everyones ok:)

  • I have been exhausted all week, Friday was just dreadful in work didn't knowif I was coming or going - no particular reason for feeling so tired...then in the shower last night I found a lump in my armpit. The calm side of me is saying don't stress its probably nothing, the idiotic side is say doctor, hospital, operation, sort out all the money paper work, you never know........

Why do these things happen on a Friday night? I will of course be ringing the doctor for an appointment first thing on Monday and hopefully she will have a little laugh at the paraniod me and sending me packing.

I don't want to tell anyone on the outside world my worries because I feel like such a fool.

Hubby has got a fantastic two days in Cardiff watching Rugby League, I don;t want him worrying and spoiling his weekend if theres nothing to worry about. My two best friends are having a rotten time at the moment and I don't want to stress them with my worries...ditto my Mum:(

Sorry to spill, just needed to let it out.

    :grouphug: TPA.

You are being sensible about dealing with it by calling the GP on Monday - it is what they are there for. Most lumps are just cysts etc, I am sure, but definitely right to get peace of mind by checking.

Will be thinking of you at the Drs this week.
