I was in the shop the other day and my neighbour was in there buying cream eggs (is a big person they both live on takeaways....) He bought 6 in an egg box and eat them all in the car before driving home.... Then came home with a MacD's :( Bleuurgh

  • Aw, i've been AWOL since Thursday!

Friday was busy in work, Saturday was another lazy day and Sunday I worked!

Today I have requested £29.07 from Topcashback, was tempted to take it in Amazon vouchers as this would have paid an extra £1.45, however I thought if I had the voucher I would end up spending it on something we didn't really need.

So far today I have done some banking (payday:j), checked TCB and Quidco, done some Consumer Pulsing (now have £20 worth of vouchers due) put a large beef piece in the slow cooker, filled the dishwasher, washed a load of pans etc that wouldn't fit in the DW and sorted out the dogs bedding.

The house looks like a !!!! tip, I really must get off here and tidy up!

    Hey TPA !! :D

Sounds like you had a productive weekend :) You managed more than me on the housework front. I managed 2 loads of washing and thats it. So much for 11 things in 2011 :D Although I did have a ride in our local forest yesterday and booked DansDad some time off today to finally start the garden :j Just gotta buy the fencing now....

Good luck with tidying, I always find there something better to do than clean....always :) like taking a nap, that's more important than tidying isn't it?

Always, your body needs napping time to re-build itself!

I went on to have a fairly productive day yesterday, did 3/4 of the ironing (left the nasty shirts for another day!) downstairs looks so presentable I could even invite the MIL round:eek:. Upstairs however is a different matter..I think i will call it work in progress.

I am very please with my :money:ways today. From yesterdays beef joint I made stew for tea, soup for todays lunch and there is enough meat left over for sandwiches for us both tomorrow:A

On the money front I have made an overpayment on the mortgage as the final monthly savings cheque has cleared (at last) it doesn't make a difference on the overall figures as the money was already accounted for, however it is lovely to see the actual mortgage figure tumbling:D.

Have got work tonight (and am in work now) :oso really must get organised!
