  • :DWhen we re-did our bathroom I seriously considered taking out the bath completely and having a large shower put in, local estate agents put us off this as they said families like to have a bath. I am really glad we didn't do it, as although I don't have bath that often, when I do I thoroughly enjoy it:D

With petrol/diesel prices being astronomical I have decided that mystery shopping is going to have to take a back seat, if I can pick them up in an area that i'm already working/going too then fine, but i'm not going to look for things on my day off anymore. With this in mind we need to make cut backs. I have decided to let the cleaner go, if i'm honest we only had her because i'm a lazy cow bag! So thats £15 a week saved.:o

Hubby is home and very tired, he was wide awake at 4am but is currently snoring on the sofa:eek:

I am excited to be going to my good friedns tonight...we are having a sleep over:rotfl:, chinese and Rose wine (sorry cha). I am working in the area that she lives tomorrow so its worked out well.

I have two shifts booked for the following two weekends so have made the most of having this weekend off by doing some ironing and not a lot else!

  • I had 2 glasses of champers today to wet a babys head at his christening, and 2 glasses of wine with dinner last night, but back on the straight and narrow again.

Probably a good idea about the mystery shopping. It doesn't make that much really. That is why i never do that many. And all the time it takes to write a report.

Morning TPA petrol/diesel is so expensive now the only reason I can do the MS a long way away is because I have a company car so I am taxed in the diesel anyway. I also thing the are paying less and less for the jobs hardly worth it when some of them requiere you to write a whole essay.

Hope you had a nice night with your friend. A girlie get together is so nice.

  • Oh dear have no idea what happened to my lovely pet yawning icons:(

Feeling a lot better today after a goods nights sleep, despite hubby turning the TV on at 5am and the cat seeing this as an invite to jump on the bed and pat my face until I let her under the quilt:eek:

Mannaged to do a mystery shop 1 mile from where I was working yesterday, it was a fast food resturant so doubled up as my luch..now thats :money::rotfl:.

Today I am in work, will then go to sencond job tonight and home for a long relaxing bath at 9.30pm:D

Tomorrow I have picked up an MS for in the town where I am working, funny how when your not realy looking they drop in your lap:)

I am currently listening to Rock 80's on the iPod whilst trying to get sme work done..its good loud and makes me move fast...thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it:p

Explained the situation to the cleaner who was upset but understood my position, she did text me and ask me if she had done anything wrong - that pulled on the heart strings, as it wasn't because of her work and I know money is very tight for her family:( Of course I reasured her she had done nothing wrong, even so...its tough.

Good news with all the MS's :)

It's cause you're a nice person that letting your cleaner go makes you feel bad. Can you recommend her to anyone you know? It may make you feel a bit better

Aw bless, I'm a right cow bag really!

Yes I have recommended her, but most people seem to be cutting back at the moment.:(

I have a question: How many cream eggs does it take to make one feel very very sick??
