Good news (if anyone has followed what I've said
) - we've cut down the holiday a bit and will now get spending money. This means I can continue to pay down our debt.
Can also save up for a new laptop for hubby while we're there as his one is on it's last legs.. cheaper to buy the same one there and he likes the American keyboard, being American and all..

The garage are going to have a look for secondhand parts to give me a cheaper price but I'm happy leaving it!!
Sorry about the cost of your car
I asked my garage to look at my car for a fault and while he was at it he could do the MOT but he said that if he does the MOT more than 28 days before it is due I lose a month's MOT .
So if your MOT is due mid Feb but you have the MOT done beginning of Jan your MOT certificate would run from Jan to Jan instead of from mid Feb to mid Feb
Unless your garage are doing something else like not issuing the certificate until it is due.
Anyhoo enough talk of cars I have PADed £1.11 [STRIKE]in keeping with the date [/STRIKE] by coincidence it matches the date :rotfl:
