Morning all and hi to any newbies :hello:
Had a busy weekend!! DS2 moved in to his flat on Friday - well I say moved in - half his stuff is still here!! Then he came back home later on Friday night cos they had no sky! the engineer was calling Saturday morning so he thought he'd come back and watch it here! lol Plus he has no internet til the 10th Feb - so no WOW :rotfl::rotfl: he's not happy about that!!! Don't think his gf is impressed tho! I hope she realises that he's a right geek or I can see fireworks ahead!!! Then they came for lunch yesterday!! I'm seeing more of him since he "moved out" than I normally do!;)
I had to laugh at them when they said they went food shopping on Saturday night and spent £152  and they said they didn't get much lol they both looked shell shocked!!:rotfl:
DS4's gf was diagnosed with swine flu as well, so am keeping close eye on DS4!
Was supposed to have GD2 on saturday night but with DS4 and the flu decided not to risk it so she went to my ex's - oh am sooo glad she did - she had him up til 4 am :rotfl::T:T;) bit of karma anyone???:A

Morning all. Haven't made a PAD today yet, will do tonight after I get back from running some errands.
Got confirmation of the trip, they're away to book the flights today.
Only problem is, I don't think we'll get any spending money, so we need to save that up. Plus we have to go to Edinburgh to get American passports sorted for the 3 kids (older 2 need theirs renewed, youngest needs one). This isn't optional so it's going to cost about £400-500 including fuel to get there etc. Ouch! I know it sounds really ungrateful but I almost wish I hadn't won... I think this could really affect our debt free plans!*Insert interesting words here*0 -

Does anyone else find that sometimes this padding/paying off debts business is making them wish their life away? I'm desperate for it to be February so I can mke the last payment to my loan, but then I'll be dying for it to be March so I can start saving!
xx
ugh..i do the same! i love making my 'big' PaDs once a month and can't wait for payDay so i can stuff more into savings. admittedly my living arrangements aren't perfect, so i guess the carrot of our own place helps tooMortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0 -
G'day folks
My PaDs for the weekend are £7.40, £10 and another £10, making a grand total of £27.40 please.
Going to have to hit the credit card later, though, as I'm buying myself and DH new headlights for our motorcycles. £80 for a new bit of glass and some metally bits. Poop. At least his will count as part of his birthday present for Feb 1st though.
Hope everyone's well and warm.

Feel a bit sick now, I've just rung up to check our credit union savings balance. My calculations say it should be £600 and they say it's £500! I've asked for a statement, so hopefully I can see what's going on..*Insert interesting words here*0
