That's fantastic news newmum. Feels like such an achievement. PAD £1.00
I just realised I made it under the £3000 mark yesterday with my big pad so pleased:T another two good months and hopefully will be below the £2000 mark.

You must earn a lot of be VERY frugal to get 1k down in a few months. I have other priorities right now than busting that loan :(...like the OD and the HP agreement for the mac (am snowballing) ...though we'll see what is the largest after the OD - it could be the HP...don't know..

    Hi everyone!
It's been a busy Easter weekend for me, lovely weather too :D

No pads for me though because.... I have a new laptop!!:j And an absolute bargain one at that.
I had been using my rubbish old school laptop which has limited functionality, just office and the internet really. Over the holiday, I went to see my friend and she was showing me her new laptop, she's really well off so it was an amazing, top of the range one. She then took another box out of the cupboard and said, "oh this is the one I originally got but I didn't like it, do you want it?" She had bought one (the one that is now mine) kept it and used it for a few weeks, decided she didn't like it, and bought another but apparently it was too late to return it! I told her I couldn't really afford to give her the cash but she insisted I take it (I tried to 'forget' it when I left but she put it in the boot for me lol) So next time I go down there I will be taking her out for a really nice meal and big night out!

Anyway, the reason I haven't made any pads is because I can't access my spreadsheet on this one as I don't have office yet. But soon I will :o

Anyway hope you are all good xx

That's so amazing greenstars.gif....You know how to 'ressurrect' an old laptop - puppy linux (google it) - you just need a CD RW and you're away...not a large file.....perfectly possible (having said that have yet to try it on a mac and couldn't for the life of me get my old net book to boot off a usb  otherwise wouldn't have bought the mac)....if not try http://www.distrowatch.com and a few CD-R's and enjoy playing (allow a few days :D)...

Doubt if they'll be any padding for me this week after all the monies spent on decorating last week  and more to spend this week :(

But hoping others manage to PAD...

    Hugs
