Pad today £26.37 to loan :)...this brings my balance under £2000 to £1999 :)

I don't know why but getting under 2 or 3k is such an achievement with loans...I think my loan is currently about £2500 but I remember getting under the 3k mark and having a mini whoop day cos of it....It doesn't sound a big deal to the rest of the planet but I share your joy and congratulate you on your achievement 2uge4p4.gif

Here's to the next £500 newmum...well done you. How much was it originally if you don't mind me asking? I think mine was about 8k by the time I'd finished consolidating

Enjoy the rest of the Easter break:A
    Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j
  • Morning All,

PaD of £30 for me please - £10 to mortgage and £20 to ISA.

HMRC handily changed my tax code to 0T so that means I've been taxed on everything and no personal allowance. Apparently they think I'm on £186K! I wish! Hope it's sorted for next payday though.

Looks like another beautiful day so I hope folks get a chance to enjoy it
  • Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone's had a lovely long weekend, whatever you've been up to?

Thanks for all the comments about Bob's heartbeat - I'm still grinning from ear to ear about that one :D

Sorry I've not been around much, the boys have been going mad in the house creating the new wall (far more complicated than I imagined :o) and they've had the electric off for most of the weekend!

Anyway, an enthusiastic pad of £9.53 into baby savings today, just a few more pennies and I'm at the £100 mark :j so about one fifth of the amount that I'd like to see in there before Bob arrives! 24 weeks to go :D!

  • I wont be able to do any PADing until Thursday as its payday then. DH helped me clean the oven out on Friday (ovenpride brought it up like new). He took the glass of to clean it and we think he must of put it back too tight, just been to use the oven and its shattered. Can get a replacement on ebay for £30 so have had to order one as I need my oven. Was planning on a haircut deal I had seen on groupon but will have to give it a miss.

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend in the sun.

    Hi everyone!
It's been a busy Easter weekend for me, lovely weather too :D

No pads for me though because.... I have a new laptop!!:j And an absolute bargain one at that.
I had been using my rubbish old school laptop which has limited functionality, just office and the internet really. Over the holiday, I went to see my friend and she was showing me her new laptop, she's really well off so it was an amazing, top of the range one. She then took another box out of the cupboard and said, "oh this is the one I originally got but I didn't like it, do you want it?" She had bought one (the one that is now mine) kept it and used it for a few weeks, decided she didn't like it, and bought another but apparently it was too late to return it! I told her I couldn't really afford to give her the cash but she insisted I take it (I tried to 'forget' it when I left but she put it in the boot for me lol) So next time I go down there I will be taking her out for a really nice meal and big night out!

Anyway, the reason I haven't made any pads is because I can't access my spreadsheet on this one as I don't have office yet. But soon I will :o

Anyway hope you are all good xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

£2.20 for me today. I've decided that this is now going to start paying off Tesco credit card as I can clear the Play one with next months pay cheque (well hubbies!!!). Also signed up to pay off £1000 in 100 days - should be able to make it if I ebay all the junk surrounding me!
