  • Can I please ask a huge favour of the May counter upperer? Can you start on the 30th April? I just realised we are going down to the hotel that night and flying to Cyprus the following morning so I won't be able to do it! Sorry I'm so rubbish :(

£1 from me today please Psycho! You're not rubbish at all, you're off on holiday and we're all terribly jealous! Have we got a counter upperer lined up for May?

I've been to the midwife today and heard Bob's heartbeat :D just can't wipe the cheesy grin off my face!

I'm trying to show MrS the benefits of making small savings everywhere but he sees it as 'it's only a quid more for something extra nice so why bother?' and the other day I'm sure MrT overcharged us for something but he really wasn't bothered at all as it was only about 60p!

You need to get him out of the nasty habit right now psyche ~ phrases such as 'just a £1' & 'only 60p' are banned on the PaD thread, these sums are to be worshiped & revered! ~ man must have money to burn!

PAD today of £60 to bank loan.

I become redundant at noon today - then I will have some time to think. My boss asked me yesterday what my plans are but I told him I have deliberatly not thought about it. The next two bank holiday weekends will feel like a holiday as OH will be home for most of the time, so I will start the planning after that.

My redundance money will be 'stored' to cover mortgage payments then if I get a job I can throw the wages at the debts.

Hope you're ok JJ ~ enjoy your long 'holiday-esque' weekends :)

Psycho - I think I'm counter upping in May so I will happily start on the 30th April. Don't forget to give us the running total though so FF can post it (speaking of which FF - we have no March total on post one)

I spent the afternoon feeling a little odd, cleaning the kitchen, doing the laundry and phoning the job centre - knowing my luck I'll be the one who finds a job and have no time to get stuff done:rotfl:

Little extra PAD of 24p to the change jar.
  • A nice big £875.38 for me please :D

  • JayJay thanks... I've been keeping a running total so I'll post that on the 30th along with the previous days total. Missed your msg about finishing work (i find i'm just scanning for numbers and not a lot else!) hope you feel ok about it and enjoy the bank holidays :)

Winnie - Wow that is lovely! My friend had a check up while pregnant when I was there once, and I heard her babies heartbeat... isn't it just the most incredible thing!
