    Hi everybody!

First of all *disclaimer* If there are typo's please bear in mind that my keyboard is on it's last legs, I haven't lost the ability to spell!

Second of all, my apologies for being away for so long. :( It's been a crappy few weeks what with my friend's mum dying, a bit of a family thing happening as well, and at work I've been having to pretty much take over the running of the department due to absence which has brought a whole load of other problems!

But - I am back now and need to get back on the PAD wagon - I haven't really fallen off, or been particularly spendy, but I've lost focus a bit and being as I am kind of on the final straight :money: now I need to concentrate again!

SO I am making a PAD of £400 today which is partly towards the A&L cc (which is nearly paid off again - bleddy OH and his crappy MOT failing cars...) and partly towards the wedding. :o

If anyone here nows about savings accounts, could a get a bit of advice please? I need to get saving for this wedding and want to put it in a separate account so it's out of sight, out of mind. BUT I will still need to be able to draw it out as and when for deposits etc. I know ISA's are the best type overall, but can you usually put money in and out freely? Or would I be better off just setting up another current account but specifically for the wedding? I guess that way I can use it to pay for things too without having to move money about? Any thoughts please. I know that was a bit of a ramble haha!

Hope you are all ok xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

I have an ISA Reward with Halifax that gets (I think) 3% interest and I can make withdrawals any time I like without penalty. Just as well, as all my PADs go in there and I take money out for treats :D It's operated online and I've never had any issues with it.

*disclaimer* I work for them, which is why most of my accounts are held with Halifax, there are probably higher rates available but I'm a lazy so and so :D
  • Good morning PADders. £2.28 for me today please. Another bit off OH's cc.
