That said, I've had a fairly awful day (courtesy of Mr 'Teflon' Dizzy / HMRC) so I'm hiting a bottle of Tarragona fairly hard at the mo... Lordy, help me in the morningCan't even begin to explain the !!!!!! that we now find ourselves in :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Not sure if I'll manage to PAD tomorrow so I'll sling a pound in the change jar just in case
£1.00 please saorsie
Oh man...I'm sorry that the fiscal gods are sh*tting in your cornflakes, and I do hope that your head isn't thumping today. When I was deepest in debt the way I tried to think of things was that it's only money and as long as you show willing to pay these things, people are generally willing to work with you to get things cleared - it's to their advantage in the end, after all. I know that sounds trite, and I don't know your circumstances, but it's what got me through some very dark times.Well, that and the odd tipple anyway

Greetings intrepid PaDleteers! And a warm welcome to all n00bs
Great going to those who've vanquished another beastly debt! With our magnificent MSE chain mail and helmets of hilarity we SHALL be triumphant!
Please put me down for £16.05 interest payment from my savings today.
Feeling a wee bit better today and even saddled my purple motorcycle steed and rode her through the mists and into work this morning. I don't think I can sufficiently express how cold it was. Holyf*cking nosesicles just about covers it I think.
Hope everyone's well and dandy.
Hi ho silver and so forth!

Woot! :j
I don't know if this is any help but my herbalist recommends 1tbsp cider vinegar with 1 tsp honey in a mug of warm water...it just might be a tad cheaper than the alternatives...
No pads since getting my ratties last week but due to my savings fund managed to save up and get a 2nd hand Bosch (always wanted a Bosch) washing machine for £135 yesterday..Praise God for savings...They were only there for that sort of thing...However now savings are zero (well about £9 to be precise) and my electric bill this quarter is over £300 - at least SH will let me pay it off monthly...
Hope everyone is well...very tired following nae enough sleep (thought I got enough but am well and truly over tired  and symptomatic cos of it...it'll be another day before I can get a proper sleep) due to too much nicorette yesterday
Blessings
Thanks for your comments re debt thrifty..I want to be debt free by August but progress keeps stalling but then I remind myself with my current ill health my benefits are going no where (DLA not due to be reassessed till the govt does it in 2-3 years time) so why worry when even if I plod (136 off a month plus 70-80 former tithe) it'll be paid off in 18 months
