    HI all:j

Gah late again as dog pulled DH over in garden in dark & 'twas quite a while before he managed to drag himself inside:eek::eek::eek: I of course had no idea - hear him screaming??? No chance.:rotfl: Now he's laying on the sofa with his leg on a cushion, having man pain:mad:

Then I had to take other dog out, who found DHs woolly hat & proceeded to run round with it hell for leather. Finally gottit off him, then had to make tea, take him paracetemol & finally allow him the hiding place of the last of the peanuts.

Oh dear sasha but err :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.......... sorry!

  • Hey everyone

Still no smokes but today the craving has kicked in, probably because DH (who is actually 47) has been behaving like an 13 year old in a moody teenage strop! maniac.gifWhy did I stop smoking?? I may just have to put myself outside of a glass or 3 of Merlot instead...

Had to jump online and PAD my new £2.51 daily figure (the saving from not buying ciggies!)

Friends are coming over for dinner later. We're having Roast Pork - yum! I'm sure DH will turn into charm personified when they all arrive, roll on 7 o clock!! frantic.giffrantic.gif

Sorry for ranting, but thanks for reading (if anyone did!) :D

Silaqui-Congratulations to you!Feels so great when something gets cleared.

    Boobylou-hope your fil,makes a speedy recovery.

I had an amazing day yesterday.Among other things I met my friend for tea and she handed me an envelope.Inside was a card from her parents and a cheque for 500 pounds!!!!Eeek!I thought I was going to pass out.I was so overwhelmed by their kindness. They've recently inherited a large sum,so they have given some to my best friend and her sister and then to me.I spent 20 minutes shaking.lol
I rang them last night to thank them, but I'm thinking of sending some flowers and a card too.
Our fridge freezer is broken so I'm thinking of using some of the money to replace it with a second hand one.(spanking new are so expensive!).And then use the rest to clear my halifax credit card. The interest is frozen but it's with robinson and way and they are constantly asking for more money and they aren't very friendly.I'm wondering whether it's worth doing a full and final settlement to see if I could pay less or whether to pay the full bal and just get rid asap. The aim is to clear the debt, then save for a deposit and build our credit rating ready for applying for a morgage.Do full and finals look bad on a credit file? Not sure I'm making sense?!Anyway for now a PAD of
1.26 please.Take care all x :D ETA little bit dizzy, your not moaning your sharing your news.lol.Less than a hour till 7!

Friends are so wonderful sometimes - how lovely that they could share a little with you.

Perhaps rather than flowers (which will cost £££'s) you could make them something? Cake, sweets, chutney, jam, gift basket thingy? Something out of fabric if you sew... Or the gift of your time? In someway, sometimes the things that cost the least mean the most. Regardless, enjoy whatever you decide to do with it...

By the way - not quite 7 but thought I should just test the wine - tasting rather delish :D
