Oh forgot to add that I've passed my six month probation at work. :j So I won't be getting kicked out of my job. :rotfl:

    WOO!!!
Also - you'd be so proud of my MSE-ness - I talked myself OUT of buying a Harley Davidson at the weekend...against everyone advising me to, too! Fear my resolve! meditationf.gif

I love the smiley you chose for that, made me have a wee titter :D
  • Just spoke to the company involved with the van loan as ive been paying the money by bank transfer (they want it to go by standing order)

he said to me if i was in a position to settle now they would knock £1000 off the amount. If i keep padding into it, bringing the amount down i can get a settlement and then be able to pay it off sooner.(hopefully have an insurance pay out coming in the near future)
    This has given me hope.

  • Oh, Green you poor thing. Hope your ankle is soon much better and not as painful toyou.gif

Glad the lizards are ok, but OMG how much??? I think in my next life I'm coming back as a vet!!! :D

Thank you :D And yes I agree with you in my next life I'm coming back as a vet and a man :p:rotfl:

Know what you mean about vet bills, my second labrador caught the end of her tail and after 3 months of treatment they finally hacked 6 inches off the end and then presented me with a £700 bill! We are insured (thank god) but took 9 weeks for the insurance cheque to arrive - added to that we had only just moved and had to do a 40 mile round trip every other day for dressing etc.

And, if all that wasn't bad enough the insurance was due for renewal half way through the treatment so could not shop about for good deal and get stung for £50 every month for 2 accident prone dogs!

Noticed the last time I was there that the vet had a brand new BMW in the carpark so at least I know my money went to a good cause :rotfl:

Oooooooooh don't get me started on vet bills :mad: over £1300 we spent on our poor dog nearly 2 years ago only for him to have to be pts after 2 weeks of huge pain and discomfort - I'd never ever go back to that vet again - heartless barstewards!!!!!!

I noticed all the flash cars in my old vets car park too but not so much in this new one we've found!

Had to do it quickly as soon as the money hit the account so I didn't 'just use a little bit for something else' and whoop, whoop, bye bye Cap 1 forever!!! Now only 1 cc to go :D
I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...

Am debating starting a new exercise class tonight - its not expensive or anything I'm just worried about being the new one! silly I know!

    have a good one everyone!
I know how you feel - I hate hate hate going to anything like that alone. There are a couple of classes at the new gym that I quite fancy bt I wouldn't dare go alone to them, I get really shy in those kind of situations!
