We OP the mortgage every month and just pay down the CC's and loan that have interest on them. The car loan is a bit of a fixed payment by choice until we get rid of the CC's. The 0% CC only has the minimum paid off every month though (although I need to still update the total for that on my sig).
Nothing special has happened, just think time is finally starting to make things happen. However, I am spending less on food (oddly) and heating than I was 12 months ago. Fuel for my commute to work is going up and up though. Hopefully, I'll be able to ignore that from the end of July for a while though.
I'm still putting £100 into my ISA every month, tutoring (only one client by choice) and exam marking during Feb and May/June to bulk up my cash stash. It's taking a while but my bank account is now into credit....although the car is due a big service and since I crashed it...I expect my credit to disappear. Went to the hospital yesterday and heard babies heartbeat which was lovely. A few bumps along the way which mean I'm back at the hospital at 28 weeks to decide what monitoring is necessary, but we shall see.
Updated all figures because I won't have access to the internet over the holidays - so thought I'd get it done now. Although some payments like loans and cc's haven't all come out yet so leaving those bits as is and will update later.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
