Minnie, I am sooooooooooo pleased for you that your roof wasn't as expensive as mine - but please don't feel you have to defend yourself, regarding your "text speak". Just look at the support your posts have been given.
I've read your post Erme, several times, and I'm sure there are others, like me, who are concerned that you are out of funds.I don't want to interfere, but would it be an idea to try to build up a little Emergency Fund, before you buy any more items?
I don't know how much you get in benefits, and wouldn't be rude enough to ask, but if you get this set amount, say, fortnightly, would a fund similar to that amount help you avoid a similar distressing situation in future?
As I say, I don't want to interfere, but I haven't seen you posting anything else today, and hope that you've had some much-needed rest.

Hi All:wave:
OOh lots going on!
Minnie 2 - so glad you got your roof sorted - I really did feel for you, its a horrible feeling when you dont know how much damage there is and how much its going to cost.
Jayne C - dont feel guilty about not buying raffle tickets - volunteers are worth their weight in gold so you have more than contributed - well done!
Not been very frugal - I'll post later when I've assessed the damage
_pale_Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Evening everyone
Just plodding along - had pancakes for tea - yum!I always say that I don't know why we only have them once a year - I've said to OH that I want them more often
Had another NSD today too, which is good. I am really trying hard not to spend anything at all. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow so that'll be a spend day, but a necessary spend. Other than that, got no more spends planned this week, which is good
Hope everyone else is doing okayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
