It's honestly not that bad once you get going - and I think the number of folks who actually use is pretty good proof of that
If you're struggling with any of it, please send me a PM telling me what/where and I'll do my best to get you going.....
thanx you are lovely!!! well am working all weekend extra work - but mny try to do some of it this evening! still feeling ill but i do need to get it done!flying_fresian wrote: »I have an annual cinema pass, which is worth every penny. Last year I had seen enough films to justify it by JulyI need to renew it this weekend though, so that will be a hefty expense :rotfl:
Don't fear the spreadsheet! I speak from experience when I say "the longer you leave it to fill it in, the worse it seems"
It's really very easy once you get in the habit though!
can you buy those online? think me and hubby would like that!!how did you go to the cinema for free?
obviously i cant answer this question but have you looked at the freebie thread on here, you can quite often get tickets for advance screenings:j
ooooh i will have a look for that thanx!!! i got 40% off vouchers last year but it was only on for a couple of weeks!!Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Need to reduce our debts!!0 -
You have to go to the stores via the relevant links within Quidco
They then (eventually) get the money from the retailer and credit it to your Quidco account
Within your account you can set it to pay out if there's any money due, or only if your balance is above a certain amount (mine's set to pay if anything's due)
At the end of each calendar month they pay me into my bank account (via BACS, the same way as an employer pays your salary in)
The only money you don't get is the first £5 earned in a membership year - they retain that as your 'membership fee'
didnt know bout these sites thanx!!!!Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Need to reduce our debts!!0 -

You can, but I get mine in-store at Cineworld. I have registered my Tesco Mastercard with quidco for in-store cashback, which means I spend £162 for the annual cinema pass (!!) but get 4.5% cashback via Quidco of £7.29 and then collect Tesco points as well because my credit card is my Clubcard too!
It's all these little things that add up0 -
Afternoon everyone glad its friday:)
Flying-fresian well done on resisting icecream at cinema
My NSDs build up when I am at work, leave home at 7.30 getting home about 5 the last thing I want to do is go shopping! when things get bad and not meal planned well for the week I do sometimes have to pop out when I get in, but not often, more incentive to meal plan better I do miss the whoospies though which alot of you do so well with

Feb Grocery Challenge £2500 -
sorry probably me!!! shopping wise 11/14 NSD (12/14 if i dont bother today)
petrol spending is 8/14 NSD already counting today!
Ah! I see! You are doing NSD's for different sections
I feel daft now :rotfl:It is hard enough for me to keep up that I am 10/13 overall! DD's, food, the works. Going to have to start recording this stuff
Although the child benefit will be drawn in cash and used for the children activities seperately as they have an active social life, unlike their Mum
Anyway-Well done so far0 -
I read the '47 NSDs in a row' as being about an imaginary person with impossible achievements, definitely not aimed at anyone on this thread (we haven't had 47 days yet!).
Had a bit of a culinary disaster this morning. I now know that if you put noodles into a soup you're slow-cooking overnight, they dissolve and you end up with something like savoury porridge....
I think you are rightIt was definately light hearted.
I was eating a bowl of pasta at the laptop(yes I know-bad habit) and I strangely, no longer feel hungry :rotfl:0 -

Save the original, Locate the file and right click on the file name. When pop up appears click on properties.
When the box pops up, the attributes are at the bottom. Uncheck the 'read only' box. Click apply, then click ok.
hi darling when I g to the attributes, the "read only" box is not tickd
But it still says read only on the top
Am I missing something way obvious here? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

No not at all
Try reboot.
If not it may mean clearing the directory. Is the file saved in the correct place? Because if so I would clear out the c:\windows\temp directory (save anything in there to the correct folder first)then reboot.
If that makes no sense, try a reboot, if it does not work, I'll run you through it.
Edited! Just thought, check that the directory (folder) it is in, has not changed to read only under the permissions in properties. You will probably still need to reboot afterwards, to save it reverting.0 -
I have saved it on my desktop
( really not sure whata directory is = LUDDITE) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
