AugustReally enjoyed reading your report bubble. We are going back for our 2nd time on 4th May, staying at PH. What is the MRB voucher and how do you get one?
Thanks
Thanks
Its members reward booklet and you can order online at www.lasvegasadvisor.com, it costs about £25 but we used a few and got moneys worth. As we are back in August with a car we will use the coupons that are for off strip places aswell.
It gives a list of coupons in book so you can see if it would be of any use to you.
There is just the one for PH, buffet $10 off pp to use at anytime.
We have stayed at PH a few times and really like it. The $20 trick works well here, I would like a resort fountain view if you're booked in a hollywood hip.0 -

If you check the first page of the thread a long list of ways of keeping the flight cost down.
As far s hotels your get a million different answers to that question without giving us more idea of what you are looking for from Vegas? Family holiday couples lads weekend?
What sort of hotel level something bargain basement or ultra luxury?0 -

MayLoved your report Bubble thanks for battling the jetlag to post it.
You mentioned your worst nightmare is missing your flight.I have actually missed my flight at Vegas once-to make things worse I was on a ticket from Vegas to NYC with one carrier and a seperate ticket with another from New York to London
Entirely my fault as the rodeo had been in town that weekend and they all left that morning so security lines were a nightmare and as I hadn't bothered to on-line check in Delta wouldn't even let me try for it (I had hand luggage only) but insisted on booking me on the next flight -which arrived after my flight to London left !
Amazingly the journey went as smooth as silk Delta didn't ask for any extra payment to rebook me -I got to JFK went to the AA desk-expecting to have to argue out of a rebooking fee -the ticket agent greeted me-I said "I'm afraid my flight was delayed and I've missed my flight" She smiled -"No problem -next one is in an hour-would you like an emergency row seat ?" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My next trip in three weeks has eight diferent flights (and a mini road trip) I'll see if I can manage to not miss any of themI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

OctoberOh how I have missed this forum. Last trip to vegas was November, stayed in the mirage had an amazing time and got engaged!! Didn't think we would be able to afford it this year so deleted forum off my favorites when I got back
HOWEVER just booked to go for a week in October. So excited been sat here for about an hour reading the latest posts! We are staying in Excalibur this time, trying to go on a budget however got quite a good deal on a widescreen room which looks ok. Has anyone stayed in one of these recently?
Nice to be back

OctoberTodays Groupon. Could get a 4 night stay including weekend for $259+tax at Polo towers. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

AugustThanks Duchy
Great that you sorted missed flights out so smoothly, cant imagine Virgin being as accommodating, glad i didnt have to find out.

MarchJust a question...what's the general consensus about a reasonably priced flight these days, either direct or indirect?
I'm struggling to find much around the £500 ish each mark on indirect.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
