A UU for me today: travel size of L'occitane Verbena shampoo. WIBA? Didn't buy this as such - it was part of a free gift I got form the outlet store at Cheshire Oaks. Thought I might repurchase but since have bought loads of Ojon. I think I have another travel size in my stash which I'll save for my holidays.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have a lippy that's 5 years old. I'm targetting this one to UU next. It's nice, I just need to remember to keep applying it!

  • Wow, ma-ri-ella, that is a lotta lippie! I'm very jealous! :D

I was interested in the posts about No7 eye make up remover. I opened mine a week ago and already have used up about 10% of the bottle. I suppose that's not too bad, as it should then last 10 weeks, but usually my make up removers last forever! It seems an ok product, I guess I just use more of it to remove everything. Ho hum.

I have a small dilemma: after raving over the Chanel foundation sample yesterday, I spontaneously decided to apply my No7 tinted moisturiser using a proper brush, rather than my fingers. It improved it so much there was hardly any difference between that and the Chanel. Which is good, because technically it will save me £20, but I really wanted that Chanel bottle for my dressing table! :(

I also tried using hair mousse for the first time this morning, and it looks nice, so maybe I should try different things more often! An excuse for shopping, methinks... ;)
  • A near UU.
It's spluttered all week but I reckon when I enxt do my hair it'll be au revoir, BS nettle conditioner.
Fingers crossed cos I've got 4 more (it's the best and I stocked up when they said it was discontinued but it reappeared in the recent sale...??), plus a bottle of L'Occitane to use up!!!!

  • I've got another UU to report - Gorgeous by Gok Body Butter (50ml) WIBA? probably not - I'm not all that keen on body butters, this one had been in my stash for about a year!

I also went to the Boots sale - but resisted the toiletries, to be fair my local Boots only had some of the Fearne Hat boxes left, which I didn't want - now question I had a £5 voucher for No.7 which I put towards a brush for my foundation (I've been after one for ages). Can you hear me trying to wiggle out of going on the naughty step? Technically I didn't buy toiletries...

    Lol
I think I will go tomorrow and use the voucher to buy also something like that (brushes, sponges, cloths...). I do have loads of make up and I do not need more. Specially because I have items that are 15 years old!!! OMG! I never wear much make up on, only eyeliner and occassional lipstick. I still don't know why I have so many eyeshadows. I probably use them like twice a week the most, always the same ones! Lol

As I posted a while ago, my Mum had a lipstick when she died that was probably bought c. 1947, which made it 44 years old. She was definitely using it in the mid Seventies (but not very often...)
