  • Vix good luck at hospital petal.

Aesop I am so sorry about your friend. The loss of a child is devastastating - it happened to someone i know and hearing anything just extends the agony. I do hope with counselling the pain will go. I am worried about you sweetie, i think you are taking on too much. All the people on this thread are givers - it is hard we forget to look after ourselves sometimes. If you are able to can you just switch off and do a facemask - and what is wrong with watching a bit of telly - it is free and entertaining - use it you do so much you deserve it.

Beanie STS - dont worry, there are good weeks and bad weeks, and STS is good you had a phenomenal weight loss a few weeks ago and your body needs time to recover that's all. bet you will lose more next weeks. Stay strong.

All is good here. Was so tired. Steve rang me this morning and luckily i woke up but ever so late. I will not sleep in the day today I think i have caught up and now will sleep at night.

I am going to do washing and then plan marking into piles. I will do some.

    speak later.

Morning all - yes it is still morning, just!!

Kit, I was wondering how you weren't at work - forgot that it was half-term for a moment  Hope you can get some of the marking done today petal and a big thank you to the wonderful Steve for ringing you to wake you up :T :T

It's wet here today but don't think it's raining at the moment so I am going to chance it and take the doggies out - 2 first and then auld Bonnie for a shorter walk, as I only have the two reliable leads until later today - on which note, I have to wait until Mr 3Dogs get's back about 6pm to go to pick up the new leads from Argo$, as he took the van keys with him

Will be back on here later, after walking dogs and doing a little work too ;)

Hi mrs 3dogs, just curious as to what aspect of a dogs lead might be unreliable? can only think that you might mean chewed and frayed maybe?
edit: sorry you can ignore that question - i just read your previous post!

and while we're on the subject of hounds, have you any idea how i might stop mine from emptying the kitchen bin all over the floor when im not at home?

Oh Dragon i am sorry you are in pain.

    Puddings hellooo and susan,

What a nightmare. Electricity switched off. I thought it was a power cut so went to sleep - no telly no lights or anything. When it hadn't come on after 4 hours - boy was i down i was so upset i stayed in bed. Nooo work done at all - I texted steve and erika and they said a circuit had broken - WHAT???? I rang John (sister's ex and he came and pressed a switch in the electric fuse box thingy and it was fine). A whole day wasted as i was too thick to press one button. Well i know what to do now. sooooo cross.

Dad has rung twice - night mare. must do one thing for him and then i am ignoring the phone unless it is you guys or friends.

what would you do without us men Kit?

why dont you sign up for a DIY/Electrical course. That way you will know in the future if your Electrics go. Plus how you knock nails into the walls to hang pictures. :D

Steve i am just too blooming thick. That part of my brain doesn't work. I can do latin, maths, lots of theory but nothing practical~! I wish i was a bit more normal. I feel jolly inadequate. I am nipping to post office to get some emergency food. No appetite at all though. So stressed from electrics going.

    I hope vix is ok.

Ps do you fancy posting on GeorgeUK's diary? he is family? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/41458222#Comment_41458222

Puds, can you hide bin under sink? in a unit? put all contents in carrier bags - not environmentally friendly but less likely to attract attention of lil doggies?

    All i can think of:o

    Have you heard from vix?

off to Post office back in 30 mins.
