my LL is a new LL. In other words not a professional, so he doesn't have a clue about what he should and shouldn't be doing. But to be fair, the shower was way past it when we moved in, and he did promise to give us a new one, so asked for a bath instead.

Mr 3Dogs has been down to collect the rest of the records from the auction and take them down to the car boot ready for tomorrow - he is going down there this afternoon to sort through them while I take my friend to visit her Mum & Dad

ive a friend who's rents from a housing association and a couple of years ago, they went round the whole estate and installed showers in everybody's bathroom.
My friend had already installed her own shower though a few months prior, so it seemed a bit pointless to rip the old one out that was perfectly fine and replace it with something almost identical.
Over christmas just gone, her shower packed up, so she asked the association if they would replace it with one of their own and they said no! If any of her neighbours showers pack up, then they get it replaced, but they wont do hers. I typed a complaint letter for her yesterday about it, but they can be very stubborn sometimes so i dont think shes got much chance :-(

Hi 3dogs, im still not quite ticking off the first box on the list

I'm drinking more coffee than usual this morning, i think i have turned into a giant walking sponge overnight!

That seems a bit rough Puds - they saved money not changing hers at the time after all - hope she gets a positive reply to your letter

Yuk :mad: You just reminded me that I have a cup of tea standing here and I took a slurp but it's stone cold :eek: :eek: Trying to pursuade Mr 3Dogs to make another cup but he is engrossed in his records so might have to make it myself
