Night Kit, Night Steve - my third load of washing is in now - I don't put too much in at one time so it doesn't get all creased up and I don't have to iron it ;)

Hey all, been busy as usual.

Anyhow I have a request, just seen on my comping group, that someone works with a charity. And some of the volunteers that help out, go into schools and make models out of unwanted cds and dvds.

Shame I didn't know about this about a year ago! I had loads, the free ones from magazines, newspapers, etc. I sent them to a company that makes them into clocks. They don't pay you for sending them and they don't pay the postage! I just hated putting them in the bin.
    c
Anyway..... if anyone has any unwanted cds and dvds, esp ones from the newspapers, etc, could you please let me know. Will try to get a pic of their models.

Hiya Aesop - we were worried about you hun :)

Mr 3dogs will have lots as he gets them when he buys vinyl records - the singles and newspaper ones just aren't worth the space they take up, against what he would get for them. Will ask him to look them out for you, if you let me know what to do with them :D

Really glad to hear that you Mam is on the up 3dogs :-)

I had by bath swapped for a shower cubicle last summer, but there must be a tiny leak somewhere because when its been used for a while we get the odd drip in the living room and cant work out where its leaking from

Aesop, i think i have a case full of old cds somewhere, not sure where it is though (theres a chance that I took it to the tip) will have a dig tomorrow through the clutter and see if i can find it, if i do, then will need to know where you want them sending to :-)

I'm okish guys. Just having a hard time, so back to lurking rather than posting.

thank you! will message the lady for address and let you know.

It's funny, I asked Landlord to remove shower and put in Bath, as DS refused to go in the shower and cried the whole time, even if I was holding him. Made it so difficult to wash him, so Landlord put in bath with shower over top.

aesop, it sound like youve got an obliging landlord there!... i bet theres a fair few ofthem who, if you ask them to swap shower for bath, would just tell you to get lost so to speak!

    1) stay off mse
    2) stay off facebook
    3) do some work
...im still working towards number one on the list at the moment :-)
