Lots of ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) for Marru and Aesop - you two really are having a bad day :(:(:(:(

Sounds like your Mother is a sprightly old bird, Patanne  she sounds good fun, just like you :j :j 5' 3'' eh? Isn't that what Kit is? and didn't Vix say she was that height too?

Aesop - Liverpool are certainly coming out winners in that deal, don't you think? Selling Torres and buying Andy Caroll ;)

I had better email Kit right now over the food for our visit at the weekend - be right back

3Dogs, I picked up some records from one of the neighbours on the street, she was getting rid of them, as she had bought cds instead of the same records. some to me are classics like Afrika Bambata (sp) but I don't have a record player and if I try to sell them on ebay I don't know they are in good working order. Any advice?

Mr 3Dogs said list them on ebay but say that you have not played them for a while and you don't have a record player now to check them on - look at the actual record for any scratches though, and only list them if they look OK. He doesn't play them to check for selling at car boot but only sells them for £1 each, but he would play them before selling on ebay - but there again, he does have a record deck

Would you like a record deck Aesop? Cause Mr 3Dogs says he could look out for one for you - he could pick one up from between £1 and ???? (possibly £5) He just bought a portable stereo with record deck (don't ask??), a midi-stereo with CD, Record Deck, cassette and radio & 3 speakers, 2 VCR's, and a 15" TV with built-in DVD all for £5!!!!! He could get you one cheap and keep it till we can meet up with you, even if it was just in passing through your area - just let me know

Nice for you to see your Andy - glad you enjoyed your chinese :T :T Menu plan looks great Kit

Hellooooo didn't get to organise t@sco shop. Andy popped by and cheered me up. It just feels funny sitting in living room at right angles (need to move sofas around methinks) still had a lovely chinese. Yum.

Marru and Aesop gosh you poor things. I hope tomorrow is better. Susan i haven't read your email I will read it tomorrow and do an order then. I can't believe the time. I am going to ring steve, wonder if he is up. Andy spoke to Steve on the phone. Hooray. No chance of him getting married for a while - he hasn't met anyone. When am i ever going to be able to go to a civil partnership.:( Is there anybody out there?

That would be fab Mr 3Dogs. I still have my old records in the loft and DH has his records, colour vinyl from punk days in his Mam's loft and cupboard. keep saying we will go and get them, but need to hire a car first.

SW, had a quick sneaky look on SA's thread at work today, you are quite a wonder with the words :) you made me smile today and I thought you write the nicest posts on MSE, you always find something positive to say.
