Looks like a full debit card from the picture, if it says "for electronic use only" on the back thou its an electron in disguise

mine don't say for electronic use only on the back
but it is a electron in disguise

    and my bin is 32010

Santander like Lloyds, RBS, Barclays and other banks now issue full Visa debit cards in place of Electron. These cards have an 'always authorise' instruction in the chip which means you might have issues using the card on a train or plane for example. However apart from that the card is a full Visa debit, not an Electron.

hmm never had issues with the train
i went overdrawn because train doesnt check for funds first
  • It's a pain in the rear, but Santander are clearly phasing out the electrons in favour of the visa debit.

A few retailers were still allowing free 'card processing' with the electron (like easyjet) and now I have to pay their made up fees.
