xbox kinect

Is this as good/the same as a wii? I am thinking about trading in my wii and wii fit and getting this instead. Just wondered what peoples opinions on it were

From what i have read its the xbox version of the wii, i dont know if its better than the wii or not as ive not got 1 myself, i do know you need a room of a certain size to use it

Bought this for xmas. Much better than the wii and the ps3 sticks. This works by motion sensor and it is really quite fun.

The kinect is still young and still little games to play. You will need some good room though to allow you to be picked up. It recommends 1.8m from the tv. More room if playing with more people.

Very fun. Some of the games are rubbish but the exercise games are really good. Kinect adventures is good.

Ah see my son's xbox is only 4gb, is that not good enough?

it is, just thought if you were buying one now then buy the bigger one (saves the drive running all the time )

I know my brother has a spare hard drive he doesn't use, would that make a difference?

depends where its come from eg if its a normal pc hard drive or a hard drive from another xbox 360

The Wii is rubbish! I had one and only used it about 3 times before selling it. Xbox 360s are soooo much better and I recently got the Kinect and it is brilliant! Like somebody else said - there aren't that many games out at the min, but if you Google it you can see some of the titles that are due to be released this year and they sound pretty good!

I'd recommend a Kinect

It's also funny looking through the photos that are taken whilst you are playing Kinect Adventures (this comes with the Kinect sensor).
