Thanks for the warm welcome! I just have a quick question:
Do we report back each day that we have a NSD, or add it all up at the end of the month?
Sorry if thats a silly question.
    Thanks,
Eh-O costumed-smiley-092.gif...have you been fitted for your strait-jacket yet, or have you been lucky enough to avoid Mistress Spoon? Not saying we are all kuku.gifbut some are more obviously so than others laughing-smiley-001.gif

To answer your question, most of us find it helps to report in daily; I do usually but I've been spending time with me muvva whose been a bit fragile with one bug or another :o It helps to concentrate the mind if you are able to pop in every day, particularly at the beginning. Any way you choose to do it tho is fine & Good Luck. Give us a shout whenever you're passing..

On my honour, I was only thinking of you t'other day LfV & wondering where you & Pure Dead Dopey had got to confused-smiley-009.gif Now it seems Cheryl's gone awol too:( but it's lovely to have you back love-smiley-018.gif

I've another two to add on my total bringing it up to 6, but today I had to replenish the bread bin at home. Un/fortunately we were in the supermarket at the right/wrong time & I snaffled a fair few whoopsies in the bread aisle especially. Plus, because I was home so late this afternoon, I succumbed to frozen roasties & yorkies sad-smiley-012.gif Ah well..Mum is feeling brighter & really, that's all that matters...

  • Glad muvva is on the mend BMF, i've missed your daily dose of [STRIKE]lunacy[/STRIKE] intellectual conversation!! :rotfl:

    Number 5 today :j

Decided to have a major clean of my mucky house so didn't bother to change out of my pj's - well they needed a wash & figured it saved dirtying another set of clothes (ok just call me lazy!!) :D Fantastic way for a NSD cos i do draw the line at going out in my nightwear

But  to the fact that the belt snapped in my hoover, so i ended up finishing the lounge carpet on my hands & knees with a dustpan!

Is it really Monday again tomorrow? This weekend has just gone soooo quickly :(

Me too! It's totally addictive & I've been trying to quit. I did a rough calc and figured I spend around £500/year on it so need to get it stopped. Any suggestions welcome!

A spendy for me today, but a frustrating one- I went to the petrol station ONLY to get a couple of cans of Diet Coke - I really am addicted to the stuff and have been for years. I know it's really bad for me, and I hate to think of how much I spend on it in a year. I don't really drink anything else (except some water and also fruit juice with breakfast). Need to do something about it....

Anyway, Asda shop coming tomorrow, which is budgeted for, so assuming I don't spend anything else, should have a NSD.

Me three, I buy about 3 or 4 big bottles a week.:eek::eek: Mind you that's about half what I used to drink and I have gone over to caffeine free and that helps me sleep better. Maybe we should have a diet coke free thread.
  • Well done to all! :) I've managed to spend money like water this weekend, but I now have a full fridge and a washing up bowl full of veggies for the week so I should manage at least 3 NSD's this week. Fingers crossed!! :)

  • Doh! Another spendy day for me :(

Needed to get some paint for decorating, so not a splurge tho. And while in the shop managed to get wallpaper for the next room on the list with 60% off, so not all bad :)

Will be another spendy day tomorrow as I'm catching up with friends. Nothing too extravagant, but am starting to wonder if I'll fit enought NSDs in this month :(

I don't drink a lot of coke/diet coke, but I can tuck away an alarming number of cups of tea a day - it's not unusual that I get into double figures  The worring thing is that I have noticed sometimes I get splitting headaches and think that this could actually be from lack of caffeine - do any of you guys suffer in the same way? I've had three such headaches Wed - Fri afternoons this week - same time each day which has got me wondering whether I should try to cut down? (also wondering if it is eye strain from the computer but I don't feel any pain/headache around my eyes at all)

May I join half way through? I would like to start on Tuesday 11th (as tomorrow I have the groceries shopping!), I will try to do 7 in a row out of 20 possible for January. Depending of how I do (it is my first time) I will keep that target or increase it. :D
