Nothing to be jealous of.... apart from having company :rotfl:
So far I've changed his browser and anti-virus s/ware for him, and taught him to play Spider Solitaire.
We're currently eating tea, with plates on laps, while he plays the game and I catch up on forums
Sounds lovely, sadly my gentleman friend works two jobs and I'm lucky if I get one evening a week with him. To be honest thinking of calling it a day, much as I'm fond of him as I get lonely at the weekend when I'm off and he's not. Sigh, such is life.So struggling on the NSD's still at 4 on a target of 10!!
8 days to go - 6 be NSD's?!
Just do as many as you can Joanne, it's an improvement on spending every single day. Don't be put off if you don't meet your target. Read the posts on here, you'll find loads of ways to focus your mind.solventsoon wrote: »Hi lovely gang:A

Didn't go to Scotland for the weekend after all
I started feeling ill on Thursday...the sinusitis was building up again. DH decided that two days travelling wouldn't do me any good at all..and since it took me 8 weeks to shift the last lot of sinusitis, he decided that we shouldn't go.Resting and taking loads of medication means that I am almost winning the fight against this bug...still a bit iffy today though.
Declaring today and yesterday as NSDs, making it a total of 14 NSDs now. :j DH did some spending on Friday - new shelves for DS2's room and some wood for the Observatory...one of the runners the roofs slides off on (I know what I mean!) has rotted and needs replacing. We also had a takeaway tea...fish & chips from our lovely chippy...not done that for absolute ages!!!
We have been sorting through all our books and really need to get rid of loads of them. There are quite a few good quality gardening and art books...do people here sell them on e£ay or A****n which is the better? I have a few more upstairs that I could do with getting rid of too...:D
In the past we have always taken the fiction stuff to the local charity shop...but might try carbooting this year....when I'm better that is!!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.
PS Hope your race went well Cheryl!

Good morning all!
We were away visiting MIL in hospital in the afternoon. Things not looking too good for her - she cant/wont eat or drink, so apart from a glucose drip, she's got nothing of substance going in. OH was very upset, as she has really gone downhill even from last Sunday when we saw her last. I think it's the the fact she has no fight in her that is the hardest bit for OH.
Anyhoo, I woke up at 3 with my head buzzing, and I knew you guys wouldnt mind me having a wee rant!:A
Today will be an easy one, I might go for a walk this afternoon and take some books back to the library. I really feel I need some fresh air to clear my head!
Have a lovely day everyone:)
Huge ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) jinty for you and OH, that can't be easy for either of you to see happening, thinking about you both. Rant away when you need to, you'll always get a sympathetic ear and a hug here.
Take care and have a relaxing day today, you deserve it.
