    *creeps in on absolute tip of tippee-toe & tries to type very, very quietly so my post is a whisper* Hello Folks :shhh: as you can tell, a bit of a strange time to be sat at a pooter but needs must.
    Mum is having awful trouble with the wax in her ears; unfortunately this week's attempt to syringe them didn't do anything to help so we try again in two weeks time & losing all hearing has knocked a gigantic hole in her confidence so I've been staying over there.
    We are in an area of the country known locally as God's Waiting Rooms, with every other vacancy in the Job Centre for care work. I've often said I didn't think I could face working with the elderly because the only progress would be going the wrong way, & this time with Mum has confirmed my suspicions :o
    Still, that's something kind of positive isn't it, knowing what my weaknesses could be...

    Then tonight I've been sat in A&E with No2 Offspring & a gammy eye. Tried the used tea-bag & swilling with salt water but it didn't work this time so off we trot & got home a little after 2 AM. We're back there again in under four hours, to see what the ophthalmologist can make of it, as the casualty staff fear it could be an ulcerated cornea _pale_ Figured the best way to handle it was not toss & turn in my bed with all manner of nasty visions going thru me noggin, so came to see what you lot had been up to in my absence :D

    So...what have you been up to in my absence? I had a bash at reading 30-odd pages but I'm afraid I had to skip most, so I'd appreciate the edited highlights if someone would be so kind. I've noticed there may be llllluurrrrrrrvvv in the air for a certain Crazy Woman, while Keiss & her brood have been in the wars too (HUGS); some bargains found & financial decisions....decided! Being locked in the Queen's Ivory Tower with no means of electronic communication has left me with Gossip Deficiency so I desperately need your help!!!! Please give generously & may sunt-Martin-uff-thay-munnies watch over your pennies as they paddle in the purse of plenty :money:

    I will have to squizz my receipts to confirm, but I'm tentatively declaring that funny number 12A as my total to date *tries to creep out, gets cramp, crashes into crockery & curses*
    Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;
    loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

    It's still faaaarrrrr too early for anyone to even think about shopping for hats :rotfl:

    But we seem to be getting on very well, and I find him easy to talk to. Think he must find the reverse, as he's gone from being nervous about telling me a couple of things to having me crawl over official paperwork (which are really none of my business whatsoever) to give him my opinion/understanding of them :) I'll admit to having been hesitant about reading the paperwork initially, given how short a time I've known him, but he seemed keen to get another persons viewpoint on them.

    I'm just hoping he's come to realise I'm not a "fair weather friend"..... if I'm there for someone, then I'm there for them whatever.
    (Well, there are one or two exceptions to that, but only specific illegal activities - and I hope I'd notice someone participating in those so that I could walk long before they became an issue)

    Morning peeps. SF hope your feeling a bit better today and bmf - sorry to hear muvva aint doing too well at the mo.

    I a feeling a little better today although it did require another trip to dentist yesterday, some antibiotics and a medicated mouthwash but on the plus side I am no longer being sick from the taste in mymouth sick0001.gif

    Yesterday was a NSD as already declared but unlikely today will be as I forgot some bits when doing my shopping the other evening mad0001.gif. My hours wil be changing as of next week so my meal plans will be all over the place for a while but it does mean that I will be able to do some more woopsie spotting happy0065.gif oooooooh wait that might scupper the NSD's......................hmmmmmm will require some thought (any suggestions wecome).

    Been rather busy this morning. Had cuppa while catching up on tinternet first thing, emptied WM, dried one lot of washing and put it away, hung up what couldnt be tumbled (not a day for hanging out unfortunately), emptied DW, fed DS his 5 course brekkie (ok not quite but not far off it ashamed0005.gif), made cake (xmas pud loaf which is in oven as we 'speak'), loaded DW and had my own breakfast (and antibiotic).............not showered or dressed but its a good start. Once I am all sorted I might pop on a dvd for DS and I and have a snuggly day until we go out
