Will let you guys decide on this one.....

I'm not including fuel as it's an essential (or DD days) .... but am including groceries! (Think I may exclude these next month & set a higher target as usually get once a week).

    So, today....

40p on some chewing gum but returned a dress (£29) which I bought yesterday.

So..... is it a NSD or not?????
Mmmm I would be tempted to call this a NSD - after all, you had a spend day yesterday but recouped it today but less the price of the gum. Overall you are "up" IYSWIM :D

    Thanks!

If everyone's OK with this, will go for NUMBER 7! (did remember to look at my sig before mis-counting again:o)
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

Evening all, just a quick update - 8 NSDs. Will attempt one tomorrow but don't hold out much hope. Fingers crossed.

    Spend day for me.....

Started the day with a 'little' run - all 6.78 miles of it. And as it took 1:10:02 it was the best average pace I've had to date (despite having once of the worst of the local uphill drags in it). Race on Sunday should be a doddle compared to that, as the hill someone 'warned' me about isn't half as bad as the local one :D

Came home, and paid for my road tax on-line.

As I left work I picked up some milk and some Whoopsied hot cross buns. But they didn't have any loose bananas, so I then headed over the road to...

A!di, where I picked up bananas (plus 2 packs of Whoopsied Belgian buns and a Whoopsied batch loaf - which I intend to slice the 'wrong' way to make Scooby D00 type sandwiches with the last of the chicken from Monday's tea)

Had debated going back for final markdown, but have spent the best part of 1.5hrs on the phone to my 'chap' instead - a much better (and cheaper) use of my time ;) Have sorted plans for the weekend, so I'm unlikely to be on-line much from Saturday tea-time until heaven only knows when on Sunday as he's coming over on Saturday evening, using the spare room overnight, and then coming to cheer me on at the race on Sunday. also means he'll get dragged over to visit the family afterwards which will satisfy DDs curiosity.

It’s not a NSD for me today – we needed some more fruit. I’m also going to bed now, as not feeling that great. See you tomorrow guys!

  • Hope you feel better tomorrow Spoon.

Spendy day for me today. Had to get diesel, bread and milk. Rather than go into the supermarket and to avoid temptation to buy other things I just got the bread and milk from the petrol station. A wee bit more expensive but probably saved me some money in reality.

I should say that I finally got to use my car which I haven't for about the last 2 months because dd has taken ownership (and she'll have back at the weekend) only to find that it needed fuel:mad: I don't begrudge her too much though because she heads off for a year or two abroad in 2 weeks time and I'll miss her so much:(.
